Mmm, I am here for all of that.
Definitely proud to call him my rep after that.
It failed, like that beer hall thing in Munich. As we all know, nobody ever heard from those guys again.
Someone should make a fucking billboard of that and put it on Times Square. (After adding the missing apostrophe.)
Sounds like a giant hint that the next insurrection attempt should bring firearms.

Believe me, the people who plan such things have already learned this lesson. The fortunate reality is that the number of these nincompoops who are truly ready to murder someone in cold blood is not high. There may be a lot of gun nuts among them, but they don’t seem prone to proactive life-taking. Posting memes on social media is more their speed.
yet. Give it a couple more years and they will be.
I think you mean every goddamn street corner of his district.
That too. And let’s lay 'em out along the highways like those old Burma Shave signs, while we’re at it.

Emblazoned on the side of a Taco Truck!
I would just like to say I am getting really tired of this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that our republic is in its death throes. I never had that feeling before 2016, and I’ve never not had it since. And it sucks.

Yeah, I agree, and that’s one way Trump was worse than Bush II. Yes Bush was an evil, stupid shit who repeatedly tried to stab America in the face. But I always got the sense that America would recover. With Trump, I feel like America has been convinced that we should stab ourselves in the face, and how do you come back from that?

Seriously it’s trash and I hate it.
Yup. It’s a constant background anxiety that periodically surges to the foreground. It’s better than when Trump was president, certainly, but it’s like a leftover piece of that feeling that never goes away.

Yeah. I think of all the books I’ve read about Rome, Caesar, etc. I feel like I’m living through the fall of the American republic and there will be many history books written about it in the future. Unfortunately, I’ve never had any desire to live through interesting times.
