You see, the cool thing about preemptively publicly stating that the rally violence is just a false flag is you can do whatever the fuck you want and claim “see I told you they were going to blame us”. If a general decides to contravene the President’s orders, he needs to place himself at the mercy of court martial, of Congress, of some oversight. That’s the check on unilateral military usurpation of civilian control.
