I think if judge by the totally of her answer Condi is more right than wrong. I do hate her say we should move on and Jan 6th in the same sound bite. But there are more important issues for most Americans, than Jan 6th. and we do need, a new generation of leaders especially in the Republican party. Does anybody seriously think that GOP without Mitch McConnel, Cruz, Grassley, Kevin McCarthy and of course Trump, and Trumpist wouldn’t be better?

Cruz is the most dangerous of them all. Not as dumb as the others and he will do absolutely anything for power, considering he essentially shat on his father’s grave and spit at his wife’s face by becoming a trumper.
On the other hand, Cruz is a deep gravity well of negative charisma, a singularity that actually sucks the charisma out of anyone who gets close enough to cross his event horizon.

True dat. I think Hawley is more dangerous. He’s smart and well-spoken and clearly also willing to do anything for power. He repulses me but that doesn’t mean he has negative charisma like Cruz. He’s also young and can run in another 8 or 12 years still, so he has plenty of time.
Really, all the Rs are jockeying for the veep slot if Trump runs again.
