If the 25th is actually going to happen, the push has to happen from the GOP.
As they say, Only Nixon Could Go to China.
If they thought they could get impeachment through the House and debate and over to the Senate – even a single article – the House will be called back.
It isn’t off the table, I don’t think.
Convenient that he’s calling for a 25th Amendment solution (that he isn’t responsible for initiating) rather than impeachment (which he is).
At this point, I give literally 0 fucks about these furrowed brow statements of concern from people who could actually do something about it.

The appeal of the 25th is that it would run out the clock on his administration; that, while it is a temporary measure, temporary is all that is called for here, and the process of contesting it would still effectively sideline him for the next two weeks at least.
On the other hand, it doesn’t look particularly doable. You need half the cabinet to be on board, and it isn’t clear that this is even possible, given the number of vacancies and questionable ‘acting’ appointments at the head of agencies. Or you need Congress to vote to uphold the invocation, in which case you need Congress in town and able to vote.
BTW, that Zuckerberg statement is kinda garbage. Especially giving grampa back the keys to the car in two weeks.
I’m hoping that Twitter was serious about their conditions for allowing Trump to return, and that they’ll actually give him the boot when he inevitably violates their terms again. (But not holding my breath there, either.)

It’s SOP to place any officer who shoots and kills someone on leave. Investigation needs to happen, and the officer probably needs some time to come to grips with their action.
