We’ll know soon enough. In order to move a quick impeachment, both chambers need to change their rules to permit it, and that means they have to start changing them now. If the Republicans in the Senate aren’t on board with impeachment, all they have to do is not change the rules / drag their feet in changing them and run out the clock.

They start busting heads right there, as the cops were inclined to do all summer, you end it right there.
They completely disrespected the rule of law and the institutions of democracy. There is no “but”, or they mean nothing.
And I say this as a foreigner without that much sympathy for the US, I can’t manage to even semi-laugh at the chickens coming home. These things, even if not material, are vital.
