Apologies if my original comment crossed that line (it was hidden, so it apparently did). To be clear, I was arguing in the context of pity and not in the context of condoning violence but no argument in the choice to simply remove it and move on.

Understood. I know you all mean well, but let’s all be a bit more careful about what we say. Ashli Babbitt sounds like she was a reprehensible person, but I’m not in a position to say she deserved to die, regardless of what she might say about me. Her death is not a cause for celebration, schadenfreude, or humor.

And the same goes for discussion about other Trump supporters, Republican politicians, and Trump himself. You guys are better than they are.

Honestly, we don’t want Trump to be hurt or killed here - he needs to serve time for the crimes he committed. Anything else makes him a potential martyr, which would be dangerous. Even if it was from natural causes, there will always be some conspiracies about “poison that causes syphilis of the anus” or something.

Well now I know it was you, but you are reaping what you sowed for years and you need to do a hard look at that permissiveness both from you and your admins. It’s not just on death threats either. To bury something like this in the middle of a fast moving hundred-thread an hour is irresponsible. Put up a sticky and make your mea culpa more meaningful.
