This looks kind of neat. Sort of the Matrix with monsters, or Vampire: The Masquerade meets the Matrix.
Yeah, the trailers look really good so far. Too bad the majority of trailers contain the only decent part of the movie in them.

The thing I remember most about the trailer was early on, when one of the vamps says someting about ‘being at war with the lycans for ages’. Only she says it like ‘lichens’, and I thought- damn, that sounds like one funky shower stall.

I’ll see it, but I’m expecting something on the level of “Blade 2”- fun fluff, but pretty trashy.

I think he’s referring to movies in general, not this movie. I would agree that the majority of movie trailers make the films they represent look like gold.

You’re right. For some reason I read the comment as “the majority of THE trailers…”
I agree-trailers are usually a poor indicator of a movie’s quality.
I’m just surprised to see this movie at all. For one, I can’t think of avampire movie with relatively high-profile actors in it recently, except for the Blade series. Second, Kate Beckinsdale? The Serendipity girl? Yes, she’s very beautiful, but isn’t this a little out of form for her?

I thought the trailer looked awesome, although they could have picked a more attractive leading lady.
Remember the part where they do a nice little camera shot of her behind?

I’d be more concerned about why the girlfriend immediately jumped on the notion of you staring at the woman on the screen like that.
This could be a sleeper movie. I never heard of it until I saw a Flash promo on IGN.
I saw it because it was the Teaser before 28 Days Later. Talk about a receptive crowd for a teaser like this!

From the trailer it looks like Blade 3 with a woman instead of Wesley Snipes, with a few were-creatures thrown in to freshen things up.
