You may recall that there was a lawsuit with Stardock over the IP rights a few years back when this was initially announced. Well it was amicably settled and the quiet period stipulated by the suit expire, so here we are. They have been working on it full-time since last fall. The name “Ghosts of the Precursors” used before the lawsuit has been dropped however. (In summary: Stardock owns the trademark “Star Control”, Paul Reiche and Fred Ford own the content of the game).
