Okay so a voice vote means yay or nay, but any member can object and force a vote? So no Republicans were around?

He’s a slimy real estate broker who screws his partners and hides from his competitors. He doesn’t know how to deal if you don’t have leverage over the other side, because IRL he’d never enter into such a negotiation. He’s probably only rarely been in negotiations not either on his terms or mutually agreeable terms.
I did say the US did have a 25% chance of breaking up when Trunp got elected and i think we’re seeing one way that might happen now. Trump doesn’t know how to govern, and the Republican cower behind him and nod, pointing at the Democrats and pinning all responsibility (and authority) on them. I don’t see how how Trump governs for two years with a divided government, not when they refuse to let him use the threat of attacking their constituents as leverage against them, and not when the Republicans have acted in such bad faith, abusing politically norms and playing asymmetric politics for a decade.
He must be hiding out on the plane of Air again.
