Is there a market for old RAM? I have old crap I don’t know what to do with, like always.

There is nothing wrong with it. I just call it crap because I feel like it shouldn’t just be recycled… there’s nothing wrong with it.

I am interested, but sadly, with so much going on in life, I can’t take you up on the offer (I still need to double check that they would work with my build). I hope they find a good home, but if they don’t, PM me in a month or two. I would pay 35 for the two 4 gb sticks.

So this post originally talked about a 980 Ti, but then a guy at work wanted it, so…

I’ll have an i7-7770K and fancy Asus motherboard available around the end of this month. Stay tuned. :)

This thread is dangerous for me. I don’t have the time to build a new machine, nor really the money, and even the three new games I am playing this year don’t even remotely need it. . .

. . . but my graphics card, CPU, mobo, and RAM are all five years old!! Shouldn’t I need to swap them all out! Rargh!

I dunno if I’d pop a 10xx series card into a pc that old, but 9 series would be a big upgrade no doubt.

TBH the 4670K would still be a beast if I’d stop being a lazy fucker, disassemble the whole rig, and mount the cooler straight so I could overclock it.

The only thing I really need is RAM so I can do some more ray-tracing.

I don’t suppose anyone has a stand alone numpad they would like to get rid of. Something under 7 dollars?

You mean like this:

Do they not sell them anymore?

The do, but nothing decent for less then 7 dollars. Besides, I am always looking to recycle.

As the guy at the renfaire says, Reuse, Reduce and Recycle!

Well mine is new. As you can see I am a terrible sales person because I left the clearance tag on it that tells you exactly what I paid for it like… 7 years ago. It’s made itself into my Goodwill pile on a few occasions, and then I wind up pulling it out again.

If you can use it. It’s yours. Just shipping costs.

Sweet! That would be awesome. I will send you the details.

Unless it’s crazy expansive.

I would just like to point out that the companies that sell mechanical keyboards without a numpad are bad people.

Also, lack of media keys. I had no idea how much I used them until, for a minute, i had a keyboard without them.

Yeah, I found that out the hard way. It was a great price and a good keyboard, except it didn’t have a numpad!

When my mechanical keyboard didn’t have a sleep button I was very depressed. I had to learn keyboard shortcuts for that like some kind of animal.

So I have a slightly used Samsung CHG90 ultrawide monitor for sale. It’s huge. It’s awesome. It was just too big for my desk!

It’s basically two 1920x1080 monitors slapped together, but the bonus is no bezel in the middle.

Shipping will be a bear, so I’m willing to make a deal. It’s just sitting in my spare bedroom not being awesome, so let’s give it a home.

I’m in the US.

Time to bump my super popular thread, lol.

Selling some GPUs, I have these cross posted on two other forums, but figured maybe someone on QT3 needs a spare old card.

These are all single owner cards. The oldest is a GTX970 that I used most recently as a backup card and it has been sitting in its box for about 11 months, the other 2 have had daily use. All have been tested as of yesterday (8/16/21). Cards were not used for mining, only gaming. I ran a superposition benchmark for each.

Smoke free / no pets. Possible dust bunnies. D:
Packaging is the original OEM Retail Packaging. No disks or stickers included, most port covers are still on.
Payment accepted is PayPal - Goods and Services.
Price includes shipping to the Lower 48 United States only (via USPS) w/tracking and or signature confirmation.

Best offers will be considered. ;)

I have a three-node Netgear Orbi 802.11ac Wi-Fi Mesh setup available. Everything works perfectly, and it’s the most hassle-free Wi-Fi setup I’ve ever had. Only selling because I upgraded to Wi-Fi 6E.

Nodes 1 & 2: Orbi RBK50
Node 3: Orbi Voice/RBS40V (Doubles as an Alexa smart speaker, pretty decent audio)

$200 takes the lot, and for Qt3 folks, I’ll pay Lower 48 US shipping.
