Video Gaming Books

I created another thread, then Dave told me he made this one. My original subject line was a brilliant masterpiece never to be surpassed, but it’s all gone now. I truly feel sorrow that you’ll never know how great it was, that your lives will end never having been exposed to that superlative pinnacle of human achievement. But it is what it is.

Anyway,

The CliffyB Thread inspired a discussion about videogame books. My position was there were vanishingly few great ones, and I could only come up with one, Masters of Doom.

As so often happens, I was totally wrong and now my non-fiction backlog has grown tremendously.

This thread is all about those books. Not crappy shovelware Prima strategy guides (although excellent strategy guides like the OG TIE/Fighter could count!) but legitimately great books that happen to be about our shared hobby.
