Has anyone tried the 3 new free Beat Saber tracks by Camellia? They’re, uh, ridiculous. I can play through every song in the base game and both official expansions on Expert, but those songs utterly kick my ass. One of them I can’t even get through on Hard. Fun to try though! I’m finding that the step from Expert to Expert+ is a wide wide gulf. There are no songs that just fall into my lap on Expert+.
Good point. The only barrier is the ardous exercise of setting up the HOTAS, but I should probably give it a try.

I absolutely love them but yes they’re all one difficulty higher than they should be graded. On Hard they’re as difficult as every other song on Expert, and their Expert is the others’ Expert+
Cycle Hit is by far my favorite song in the game now though. It’s incredibly fun on Hard, and over the last week I’ve finally been able to beat it on Expert.

For people that have had both the rift and the rift s, how do you like how the s sits on your head with the halo headband vs the original rift? After a while I tend to feel the rift across my brow and wondering if the s would feel better.
The S constricts in a different way to CV1, it’s tighter around the sides and back of the head rather than the brow. The big headband at front is really cushioned. But you’ll still feel it.
I find it more comfortable but generally I don’t spend super long hours in VR.
So I finally took the plunge and got a PSVR rig. A friend sold me his little-used PS4 Pro for $200, and I got the VR setup (camera, headset, 3 Move controllers) for $150 off FB Marketplace.
I’ve messed around with demos, and found a few fun things. Looking to get a cheap copy of Skyrim and No Man’s Sky when I can find them (holy shit, Skyrim VR is $60!). Anything else I should look into?
Biggest annoyance so far: the passthrough cable for HDMI to my TV doesn’t support HDR. I was really enjoying that in Horizon: Zero Dawn, and now it’s broken unless I do the cable shuffle every time I want to use the VR. Grr.

Beat Saber. It’s one of those apps that is so simple, but so immersive and fits the control and UI scheme so well that you can’t not play it. It’s like Tetris on the Gameboy. A must buy.
Yeah, I keep hearing that one. I don’t really do rhythm games that much, but it’s on my list.

Astrobot Rescue Mission is a full game version of the one 3rd person demo where you rescue some fellow robots in a little island landscape. Supposed to be one of the games of the year but I haven’t had a chance to try it yet.
Job Simulator and Diner Duo are great if you have kids, with the former being fun (though short) for adults also.
Until Dawn: Rush for Blood and Resident Evil 7 are great if you don’t mind being terrified in VR.
I played through the astro bot demo and was underwhelmed. I like horror movies, so those others might be the ticket. I’ll look up Until Dawn!

Resident Evil was too much for me, and I usually like horror games, but in VR it was over the top, but I am still glad I got it even though I can’t play it =)
Beat Saber is all kinds of fun, and if you play on Hard or better difficulty can be all kinds of healthy too!
I thought Astro Bot was genius. The full game was very cool.
I’ve also had a lot of fun with Gun Club VR, Falcon Age, Catch and Release, and Everybody’s Golf.
If you have the gun controller then you almost have to have Farpoint and Firewall…
I saw this one- it looked cool. What’s it like? Anyone tired the ‘superman-meets-EDF’ looking thing? Something downpour or something?

I couldn’t even do the demo - did you try that at all? The VR aspect is way too real for me.

Falcon Age is … unique I would say? You have your bird and a multi tool, and there is some light combat, some pet raising, some puzzling… It’s hard to categorize that one. There is a 2D version, so you may want to watch some youtube let’s play and see if its your cup of tea.
Resident Evil I did not try the demo. I bought it on a dare with my son, and then I ended up making him play it because it freaked me out =)
What’s the movement like in Falcon Age? It sounds neat. I’ll probably check out out.

Ahhh…well the demo has you tied up in a chair in a ruined kitchen in that house. Then some sort of ring ghoul girl starts appearing. I was not a fan!

If I remember right Falcon age has teleport or smooth move options.

I just bought Accounting+ on the Quest. Pretty funny! Though definitely a certain taste of humor not everyone will like.
If you like this then you’ll love Trover, and vice versa naturally.

Not out on the Quest yet though :-(
