If you play it a lot, I recommend just going the whole way and doing this:
That’s the Vive DAS strap modded onto the quest with a couple of extra velcros and a D-ring. I’ve also got a battery pack counterweight attached to the back with velcro tape, and a VR Cover facial interface. I love the built-in headphones, the instantly adjustable headset, and the extra comfort the DAS provides (though it took me a couple of weeks of use to get it adjusted correctly–the over-the-top strap should be tighter than you think.)
Slightly worrying that Norm says it doesn’t fit his glasses well at all. I basically can’t use a headset unless I can wear my glasses. He does have bigger frames than I do though.
With the Quest and Rift you can order 3d printed lens holders that snap into the headset. Then get a pair of your prescription lenses and install them. Not hard, although it adds a lot to the cost of your headset.
I can fit a Rift over my glasses fine.
My glasses fogged up doing workouts in the Quest, which doesn’t happen with the prescription adapters.
On another note…
Plus the cost of the lenses, which is like £200 for me.Though I suppose if they’re only going in the headset I might not need to pay extra to keep them thin.

Thank you all. I didn’t know the G2 was on the horizon. I will look into that one…and maybe the Index. The index is not cheap, but its cheaper than my latest monitor and way less than my most recent TV so I guess it’s all relative.
Okay, so fogging glasses and uncomfortable balance. Thanks for the heads up so I’m mentally prepared. I don’t mind having to make some mods.
Well yeah, but $15 vs $100 or more.
Here’s my counterweight / extended battery setup. Makes things much more comfortable.
Looks alright. Do you actually have to swing your arms for speed or something?
It seems so! I think it’s cool
So kind of like Sprint Vector without the flying/gliding, plus shooting!
PSVR exclusive? Or just timed I wonder.
This is great news! The Oculus Quest version works great. I could never get any desktop browser to work with 180° streaming videos though.
The new Jeff Minter game ‘Moose Life’ launched, with VR support.
I’m not big on arcade shooters, but… a tenner is pretty cheap for a ‘euphoric mood enhancer’ I guess…? :)
Shocked! Shocked, I tell you.
