Yes, you can. You need $20 and a good 5GHz router, but with Virtual Desktop I play all my PCVR games wirelessly.

I’m seeing the Reverb G2 is a bit more expensive than I thought. Months ago I read it was $600, but that’s the headset only. In amazon, it’s 700€ with the controllers.
There’s no option for a controller-free model here (I quickly double-checked in a panic!).
If I convert from the AUD I spent, it works out to about 665€ here - but with the discount the HP store was giving in the first days it was only 545€.

Ironic, given Australia is famous thanks to their high consumer prices. For reference, average salaries in Spain are half the ones in Australia… ;_;

I was thinking how hard is going to be to drive the new Quest 2 in my pc. I did a small table with several devices!
Rift 2 * 1080×1200 @ 90 Hz = 233280000 pixels/second
Rift S 1* 2560×1440 @ 80 Hz = 294912000 pixels/second
Quest 2 * 1440×1660 @ 72 Hz = 344217600 pixels/second
Quest 2 1 * 3800x1832 @ 90 Hz = 626544000 pixels/second
Index 2 * 1440×1660 @120 Hz = 573696000 pixels/second
Reverb G2 2 * 2160×2160 @ 90Hz = 839808000 pixels/second

Hey! he used proper VR titles to test! A racing sim, a space sim and DCS, a flight sim! Nice!
Also still awaiting the G2. It’s due late october, or so they told me.
I can’t think of any current VR games I wouldn’t suck at. Are there any old school CRPGs?
There’s Operencia and a Bard’s Tale

There’s a lot of story based adventure games. Lone Echo is a standout example.
Somewhere between Star Wars and the opening cutscene of Starcraft:
Disappointed the video didn’t explore their moonwalking potential.

That demo video would have been a million times clearer if the guy hadn’t been in the dark. Did I miss the point of that?
I’m assuming precisely so it wasn’t clearer how far he was moving.

Yeah. The Reverb G2 is looking like a serious jump in visual quality. Sure, there is plenty of room to grow with tracking, fov, refresh rates, cable management, and even visual quality. However, with the G2 things are finally in the realm of a normal monitor with minimal pixels, fog, or blur. I have been content with PSVR until now, but I am jumping in on PC with the G2 when I could have easily chosen the Index or a Facebook big brother device. I am looking forward to Star Wars Squadrons on the G2 soooo much.

That through the lens video cemented my decision not to cancel the Reverb G2 order for a Quest 2. Unless something is being altered by the filming technique, the G2 is just dramatically sharper for sims than the Quest 2 or Index.

Uh. My Quest 2 order in Amazon (ordered the same day it was availiable on my country) suddenly and magically changed from Oct 13 to Oct 20. Great. :/
Haha yeah my shipping date was ‘confirmed’ by Amazon yesterday also… arrives October 15 or 16.
