True, but worth it, IMO. When I upgrade to a Quest 2, it should be easy to transfer over too.
Another site to browse the App Lab entries, this is one is actually usable as it has nice filters and sort options:
Yesterday I had my Quest on charge in the morning, green light. I unplugged it, and then put it on about 10 hours later… zero battery. It was on standby mode, and I normally drape a cloth over it to keep the dust off, so I think it inadvertently activated the light sensor and turned the unit on… until it ran out of charge. Something to watch! No Questing last night, sad krok.

New songs on Beat Saber are actually really fun. They lean into sort of metaltronica. And the red/black aesthetic works really well. There’s even a Camellia track that is hard-fun instead of hard-ludicrous.
There’s an interesting couple spots on a couple of the new tracks where they have you hit a complex sequence while keeping your sabers crossed, which I weirdly haven’t seen before. It was pretty short, but hints at something they could expand into other songs.
I’ve only tried the new songs once on Hard so far, and found them more complex than a typical ‘hard’ level, but oddly straightforward without many gotchas. I didn’t quite get a full combo on any of them but pretty close, while always feeling like I was right on the edge of disaster. I didn’t find the songs themselves to be anything special, but it’s all about the patterns really. Bit scared to try these on Expert I must admit.

Skyrim VR for $11:
Haven’t played it in VR so can’t say if it’s good or not.

Good deal on Skyrim VR, and you can now play Enderal in VR thanks to a mod. I haven’t tried it yet, but plan too very soon.

Heard less good things about that port.
Thanks for this! This VR thing is turning out to be quite expensive. But so worth it!
My brain seems to have largely accepted the whole smooth movement thing in VR now, which is great because I can’t imagine playing Skyrim VR with the teleport method.
As noted before, if you’re gonna buy/play SkyrimVR:
So I’m finding that, after adding the short USB-C elbow cable to the charging port, the Quest 2 is a bit too front heavy, so I really need that counterweight I ordered. It’s not arrived yet, so I can only play in short bursts. I’m also noticing VR takes more energy to play than pancake games, so I need to build my endurance. I’m hoping to deal with all this soon so I can play for longer sessions and eventually stream VR games.
None of this deters me, I’m loving VR. I just need to sort some things out.

Before I got my DAS, I literally took a 10k mAh battery pack and tied it to the back of my headset strap with a couple pieces of yarn. I used my headset this way for a few months.
