Also, I hope that dog is okay. I’d love it if Daryl had a dog.

Man, I would love to have this show turn into A Boy and His Dog with Daryl taking over the Don Johnson role.

And Beth as the new Willa June
There was a scene at the table in the funeral home just before all hell broke loose that once again seemed to hint at a budding Daryl-Beth romance. I seriously hope that is not the case, because that would be icky. I love the character of Daryl, and after last week’s episode I am now very much liking Beth as well, but I DO NOT want to see them together that way.

I don’t think Daryl was referring to Beth in that scene though. I believe he was talking about her father being the person who helped him to realize there were good people in this post-deadite world.

Correct. Let’s see how good YOUR memory is at 61.
Besides, who cares as long as she gets eaten.
I’m quick to criticize the show, so I should give credit when it’s due. I realized I’m finding this lost and trying to find the others storyline so compelling that when I saw the beginning of the episode I thought it was a reunion flashforward. I thought he was referring to killing Sasha and that’s what the rest of the episode would be about. Considering the dialogue and the way they acted, that idea makes no sense of course but I could not see any other possibility, lol. It was not till I read online it was a flashback that I think “Ohhhh, so that’s why I couldn’t understand what the hell was going on”. I was so eager to see them reunited that I blocked anything else out. I think Sasha is similar to Andrea in that she really needs some type of normalcy. She’s very capable but I don’t think she’s cut out for wandering around on ‘missions’. She’s the type who stays at camp and works there while you go out. That’s fine…when you’ve settled somewhere, but they haven’t yet. Speaking of Sasha, one thing that annoys me about her, and people who think like her, is the way she apparently thinks she’s special. If I’m alive to hear you tell me “So and so is probably dead and we’ll never find him, so there’s no point to going Terminus hoping to find them” then that means you and I are alive! Logically, saying they couldn’t survive makes no sense if we survived the same situation. Also, if I was Daryl I’d assume those guys took Beth, why not? So I would not use my real name, since Beth just might have let it slip, maybe in the car when they were kidnapping her(“Daryl!”). All it would take is one of those guys to say “Hey, wait, she called that guy we left behind by the same name” and you’re in big trouble. I must have seen too many horror films because when I realized what was going on in that funeral home I thought Daryl and Beth were going to wind up captured, as some future material for the psycho mortician. I mean seriously, who keeps ‘working’ in a place like that long after the civilized world has ended? A crazy person, that’s who. I think the key to what Daryl does with that group is going to be determined by how hopeless he feels about finding anyone again. He’d be a lot likelier to devolve if he thought that gang was his life from now on. But what if they are scavengers for the new town?

Sasha: I presumed her reticence was more about Terminus being another Woodsbury. Yeah, throw in not wanting it to e confirmed that Tyrese is dead, but she just wants to set up shop somewhere rather than go into more unknown situations.
Bob: I saw Bob wandering down the road alone in a bemused state and I figured the opening was a flashback to his alone and drunk period (interesting to see other’s reactions). A good tie-in to see that vs. where he currently is - he is trying to be pro-active, rather than simply accept whatever comes his way.
Maggie: Damn, girl, you do have a sister, don’t you?
Daryl: I dealt with this scenario in D&D. Let the party charge into a room, shut and lock the door behind them. Scoot with the loot. Though I suspect he’ll lie low with the group until they blunder into Our Heroes, when he will re-emerge as a Good Guy and save the day.
Beth: Sing LOUDER, dammit! We’ll follow! Okay, maybe Maggie won’t bother…
Just enjoying the show.
Well, I’m an idiot. For some reason I just never made it past around episode 4 of season 1 - something I just spent a marathon week correcting.
Holy fucking shit this show is amazing and awesome.

You horn dog. Put the sexually explicit information [porn] [/porn] tags.
Huh? Projecting much? (caveat: I’m reading this on iOS Safari so maybe I’m missing something)
Actually, now that they’ve fleshed out her character some more, I’m pretty anxious about her fate. I’m not happy that she was abducted.
I believe this is what as known to humans as “humor.” Specifically, a human takes a relatively innocent remark, and then pretends to misunderstand it as a sexual one. See “That’s What She Said.”
OK, but it seemed so weirdly out of place that it was hard for me to understand it as such (as when “That’s what she said”–which is at least a known meme–is followed by the chirping of crickets).

GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER, PERVERT!
Me too.
But I’m more interested in this potential new direction for Daryl.
I disagree strongly and really, really hope Daryl’s time with this group is very short and consists of him trying to find the quickest out. The last thing this show needs is Lost-like flipflopping of characters week to week.

I wish they would bring back the CDC storyline. That was good shit and gave some context to the entire story.
