Wallet Threat Level

Mutant Zero on the Switch? Does it play well with a gamepad?

It does! I enjoyed it on the Xbox One. The only reason I didn’t play it more is that I have no time to play games.

92% for me.

I just checked a video of the Switch version and I wouldn’t mind the lowgrade visuals if they had any atmosphere to them. Sadly it looks like they went with keeping high detailed models of the Xbone version while stripping off all the lightning work: it looks really plain.

Yeah, I said in my post that I recognized Oxygen Not Included and Madden NFL 20, and that’s about it. I do recognize Mutant Year Zero and Trine 3 as Switch ports of older games. But yeah, I’m blank on everything else.

Since Church in the Darkness is coming out on every platform, I did look up the trailer, and I’m still in the dark after watching this as to what this is exactly, but it’s an intriguing trailer.

The Blackout Club is coming out for everything except The Switch, so I looked up that one too. Looks like a horror game of some kind. @tomchick, this might be something you enjoy?

Somewhat, but the jury is still out. Stand by.

I agree and this was my big complaint about the game. The ship choices were very bland and the physics were very much the same with each ship type. Unlike star control where you had fast ships, slow ships, nimble ships and sluggish ships in different combinations. Also the weapons were far more interesting. SC:O had none of this. Also mineral collection was boring as hell.

Seriously considering picking this up.

This quick peek by Simple Combo has me charmed.

Significant wallet threat this week. I know some people here at Qt3 have been eagerly awaiting Metal Wolf Chaos XD. And of course, a lot more people have been really looking forward to the science fiction version of Age of Wonders.

Anybody played this? From the name, I thought it would be a super generic Kemco garbage-JRPG, but it looks well received?

Is Legend of Heroes too generic to actually trademark? Or does Falcom just not care?

Doesn’t the Xbox version get an update as well?

It’s a SRPG similar to Final Fantasy Tactics. Quite a few people here on QT3 actually played the game:

I keep forgetting that exists. Updated.

Fell Seal and (possibly) Emberlight look interesting to me. Nothing else grabbing me just yet, will have to do more research on other stuff. But right now I’m just waiting for Aug 30th for Astral Chain.

I preordered the Vasara Collection: it is worryingly 50% off, but heck at 5 bucks, if there is gonna be any chance to experience those game ever outside of that opportunity, I took the shot.
