I saw the announcement. For me, I’m more interested in the TV and Books aspect than the gaming aspect, although I’m sure others may differ on that.

I’m glad they went with what seems like a more or less reasonable pricing scheme. When I first heard they were doing this, I figured they were going to way overprice it, but $60 per year doesn’t sound too bad. For me a lot will depend on how good the shows are.

I do like that they took a bunch of amateur fan artists and gave them actual jobs making animation for WH — most notably the guy who made the Astartes fan film. If you haven’t seen it, it’s very well done for a fan project.

It looks like he took the originals down when Games Workshop hired him to make “Astartes II” for Warhammer Plus, but GW doesn’t appear to have taken down any of the many copies that are floating around. Here’s one of them:
