It probably wouldn’t have helped but if you can see the chest (or even its lightbeam afaik) you can click on it from any distance. Handy for PQs when you’re running back.
So, does your contribution to a PQ reset when you die? Because last night I completed the entire first phase of one by myself. Two other people showed up during the second phase and I died during that one, came back and finished it and the 3rd phase with them. But when the rolls were done, my contribution was at the bottom and not even close to either of the two other people there. Seems wrong.

It seems really really random. I’ve main-tank-healed an entire keep siege without dying, while tossing AoE heals all over, so my healing contribution should have been pretty decent, but I ended up last. Out of 38. Very frustrating, especially when there are witch hunters sitting back doing nothing but plinking with their pistol.
I haven’t had any problems with not having my contribution counted, but I run into problems all the time with the god damn PQ loot box staying on the screen and keeping the focus over in the middle of the fucking screen.
I really don’t like loot mechanic at all. Why not just give them out, why do I have to go to the placement of the chest to get my phat l00ts? Somethings about the PQs just aren’t well thought out.

I do, but only on one character. I made a dwarf IB, and I type everything in a mishmash of French and English with a French accent. RPers boot me from their groups so fast it blows my mind. I guess it’s because I’m not pretending to be Scottish like every other dwarf?

Somebody in the wanderers told me that there are legitimately French dwarves, so not only is it RP, it’s RP within the WH universe. But try telling that to the cursed RPers.
My witch hunter, Matlock, also gets a lot of hate. Apparently it isn’t cool to be an elderly prosecutor from the southern part of the empire. When I really want to tick them off, I wax nostalgically about Atal’anta, his beautiful home town. Surprisingly no one has figured out that Faegilis the Elf Archmage is a gay joke! I mean, damn, how do people not remember Robin Hood Men in Tights?
These guys are all like level four, but I can’t stop with making new ones because I keep thinking of ridiculous names!

The kind of people I normally play with never do shit like that, but they should do something about the system. You shouldn’t be punished for other people being ignorant fucks.
Learned tonight while taking keeps in shadowlands with the evil elf chick’s stupid AE damage rapeness that they really, REALLY need to fix the timer on keep take PQ chests. They should last for a good 3 minutes or more. They should probably also pulse a nice AE rez at 30 seconds after killing the keep lord. (Because god knows if you have the forces to battle through the other side and kill the lord, there’s no tactical advantage being lost by the defeated team if suddenly all the takers get up again. It’s just a time saver and keeps from screwing folks out of their loot.)
I saw a gold, two blue, and a purple bag basically evaporate tonight due to the stupid timer on the keep chests. None were mine (I only lost out on greens due to death) but it’s silly that this happens at all. (Of course, it’s also silly that you get loot for taking a keep in the first place. The far higher RP bonus is more than enough.)

Why even have to collect them at all? They could just pop into your inventory, with some provision for people already full of space.
In general the GUI for Warhammer Online is pretty crappy, full of all sorts of unnecessary clicks.
Isn’t France just a little to the west of the Empire starting area? It looks like it to me when I look at the big map.

Well, there’s something neat about opening the treasure chest. However, if you don’t collect it, they should just mail it to you.

What bugs did they exploit? All the article mentioned was that the Order side were claiming the raiders exploited “a bug from the patch”.

I like the idea of my guy receiving a bag of loot, picking one item out of it and throwing the rest on the ground.
Appearantly they could enter a rear door that should only be useable by Order and therefore skip the raiding of the main gate.
To me that is clever use of game mechanic and not an exploit.
If the developers are not happy with it they should patch it. Simple as that.
Blizzard did this a lot of times in the past (for example with the strategy to stand on rocks at Nefarian encounter in BWL so the mobs couldn’t target / hit the raid while they were dps’d down. That one was hot-fixed the same night.).

The bad implication is that without changes it’s easier for Order and Destruction to take turns at the bag of loot (Monday you, Wednesday us) than fight each other.
