Watch out for app subscription renewal alert phish

So, I’m a dumbass.

Earlier today I realized through my post-surgical pain-med haze that I had just been phished. What was interesting was the approach, though: faking an app subscription renewal (something you might want to cancel).

I’m probably the only one here stupid (or mind-altered) enough to overlook the flaws in the email and take the bait. Just in case, though, here it is.

Obviously, lots of errors that should have flagged this. Grammar, punctuation, etc.

Meh.

One of my coworkers had something similar, and was on the phone about it yesterday with Apple complaining.

I’m gonna guess phishing for apple ID credentials.
