Ah yes, that sounds familiar! I was having a great time with this game until I had to go away for work, and totally lost the thread when I got back. I keep saying this, but one day some dev team will figure out a way of getting players back up to speed on a game that they’ve had a shelve for a while. I’m sure I’ll go back to it eventually, but it’ll have to be a restart.
As for me, well I’m somewhere in the middle of the Elysian Shore sector in Elite Dangerous, heading towards two distant nebulae.
The Division 2 (free coupon through AMD), The Witcher (finally) & Aggressors Ancient Rome.
I was a fan of M&M despite its flaws but always heard this was dire…or was that 9? It looks pretty.
Yeah, 9 was dire. X was definitely a return to form. It got some criticism from some fans because they went with the Xeen model of grid-based movement instead of the later free-movement approach of 6-9.
ah maybe that was it…I haven’t tried prior to 6 so that could be interesting.
Yeah X is good. IX ruined the franchise for years. What ginger said earlier has me intrigued. I never finished X… perhaps a review of some general guides and a new run though would be fun.
Ok THIS is what I will play this weekend as well. At least a little.

I’ll continue my Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game. I think I’m about to leave the first island. The last couple missions and areas I’ve stumbled on I decided not to use the eagle and I think I enjoy it more. I can see there being somethings I need it for though.
I’m also trying to figure out what type of OOTP Baseball solo historical league I want to play.
I’m playing Super Mega Baseball 2 with the ego difficulty set to 75 and I am struggling to hit. I’ve been doing OK up until this point, raising the difficulty as I go along, but I think me team is 2-6 now. I’ve had a lot of pitching duels!
I plan to put more time into Mario vs Rabbids on Switch. I haven’t played in a few months and am not exactly sure where I left off, but I think it was the undead world. I’m disappointed my wife isn’t into it, because it looks like it could be fun in multiplayer.
I’ll also be spending more time with Grim Dawn as I explore the Malmouth expansion.
Is there a recommended level for the Tiny Tina DLC?
I believe it’s level 30-35 content.

Risk of Rain 2 for more unlocks. Medieval murder simulator: Blade and Sorcery VR, which will double as my workout.
Late game AC: Origins. Maybe some Superflight on the side.
For me this weekend…
Division 2
Islanders
Antihero
Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen
The weekend I am chasing my kids around a busy playground with lots of equipment. Like, a giant wooden castle with 3 sections. So far, I haven’t lost the 2 old.
Which is good because she isn’t taller than the walls.
Operencia & Driveclub VR
I’ve also got an unopened Horizon Zero Dawn complete from thanksgiving teasing me on the shelf, maybe I’ll finally get around to that. :)
Ha! I never had kids (and at 58 that ship has obviously sailed), but if I’d ever had a daughter I’m pretty sure my permanent address would have been around her little finger.
Have a fun (and probably exhausting) day!
Never too late! Or go big brother/something else.
Everyone can be a parent to someone at some time.
That being said, someone had an idea on Reddit to create business cards for their kids. I might go that route
Yeah, 30+, and it’s a good idea to finish the main story before playing because it builds upon late game events.
I’m addicted to La-Mulana 2 right now. What a treat! It’s so much easier to play without a guide this time. Just make notes for things you can’t get to in each room, then go back later when you have the right item.
As much as people hype the Tiny Tina DLC, I went in with low expectations. I’ve always felt like the mostly-excellent character design and voice-work in these games can’t overcome the forgettable words they’re saying. So, not a big fan of Borderlands in that regard. (Except Handsome Jack, really - he’s always fun.) But the Tiny Tina DLC was pretty excellent. Beyond just the writing being good, the level design made for my favorite Borderlands maps, too. Glad I’m revisiting the game.
