Finished up S16 on all my Diablo Alts.
I fired up the base game again, and was disappointed to find that my savegame in the SP campaign (the Normandy one) had been lost somehow. Yes, it had been a number of years, but I thought this had cloud saves (at least the GFWL-free version-- I gather that the old one is now called the “legacy version” right?).
Wait, the unofficial servers are still up?
This might perhaps be my weekend, too.
Ah, sorry for the confusion. Although I think that CoH meant Company of Heroes first, so nyah! ;-)

And I retract my assertion about “CoH” first being used for Company of Heroes, because the other game came out first.

Heh. That’s mainly what confused me. I know nothing about Company of Heroes.
Whaaaa? One of the best RTS titles of the last decade? The campaign was basically Band of Brothers: the Game (and the title is an allusion to a quote from Dick Winters, the real-life Captain of Easy Company, IIRC). And mind you, I suh-uck at RTSs. The only thing that saves Company of Heroes for me is that you can pause and give orders (in single player only, of course).
I have to agree that suddenly seeing the acronym COH referenced all over the place has been a great reminder to return to Company of Heroes. Like a little sign and nudge from the Gods.

Well, there are sales everywhere, and I picked up a ton of games, like SeVen, The Stalker series (can’t wait to replay these) and Tropico 6 from Origin Vault. Alas, we’re going gambling this weekend, so it’s a different type of gaming for me.

Keeping an eye on my teams in Out of the Park Baseball’s Perfect Team, and definitely some Season 17 Diablo 3. Most likely there will be more than that, but not sure what it will be.
