I am pretty much only playing Synthetik and Radiant Silvergun right now, perhaps not coincidentally both games that lend themselves to (fairly) quick runs.

I’m changing one of my games from The Pit: Infinity to Cogmind. The Pit: Infinity (a real-time first-person-shooter Roguelike) mostly just inspired me to play a top-down turn-based Roguelike. And because I haven’t played Cogmind in a while, and they’ve fleshed out the game even more since last I played, I decided to boot this up instead.

Regardless of its mostly positive reviews, there are a few things about I didn’t like about The Pit: Infinity and helped me realized it isn’t the game for me.

Age Of Wonders 3. 4th campaign map. Loving this game!

Hearthstone consumed more of my weekend than expected. The new Battlegrounds mode is pretty fun!

I ended up playing a teensy bit of AC Odyssey but mostly watching The Man in the High Castle S4 (halfway through).

I actually had time to play more RDR2 on the PS4, I will eventually finish chapter 6. But… until then I caught 2 more legendary fish. :)

8 more to go according to my map.

Fishing. Ugh.

The Outer Worlds all weekend. I paid the [redacted] the $[redacted] to skip [redacted], and now I’m wondering if I should start over so I can do [redacted].

I played a lot of stuff for a little bit. But I beat the Bard’s Tale trilogy! That feels like a big deal so I’m patting myself on the back. Made a bit of progress on Fallen Order and The Outer Worlds too. And I played a bit of Tracks, which is a fun and relaxing toy train construction set.

I will be playing Warframe and Dead Island 2 Every day.

My weekend will likely mostly be taken up with Lord of the Rings Online, Strike Fighters 2 and Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr. Should be a very fun weekend!

Did you mod up your ME2 playthru with the ALOT HD textures and game pad support @BrianRubin?

Er…no? I’m just playing vanilla on Origin with a bunch of DLC.

Another weekend, geez. Time flies.

Warlords III: Darklords Rising (GOG)

My god, it’s been nearly twenty years since I could say I would be playing this game over the weekend. GOG (unofficially known as Great Old Games this week) unceremoniously, and without warning, dropped this absolute gem into our laps a couple days ago. It’s Christmas in November.

Age of Wonders: Planetfall (Xbox & Steam)

I’ve started eating and breathing this game on Xbox ever since it hit Gamepass. I actually own the premium edition on Steam now, but when I’m on my PC I’ve been playing Warlords 3, so it’s possible this will just be my go-to Xbox game for the foreseeable future.

Ummm…

Outer Worlds
AoW: Planetfall
Antihero
My Memory of Us
Doodle Mafia
Particle Fleet Emergence

I have much on my plate.

Gonna keep plugging away at the current game I’m trying to finish, The Surge.

I’ll probably also try out Red Strings Club, Vambrace, and Darksiders III on Game Pass.

video of the changes at a glance:

just seems like a waste of the RTX 2080 Ti to not run at HD textures!

super easy to install (has the links to nexus mods for you inside installer) and i recommend it. not really mandatory so if you’re happy with what you’re running so far, that’s fine too. i no longer enjoy playing mouse-keyboard with it and also installed the controller mod beforehand:

that’s pretty much it. no crazy gameplay changing mods for it or me1-2-3 when i started the replaythroughs recently.

I’ve already played a game of Aeon’s End this weekend, and I also plan to play some Pokemon Sword, Age of Wonders: Planetfall, and Command: Modern Operations.

I finally have a day off tomorrow, so I’ll be playing a whole lot of Pokémon Sword.

Oxygen Not Included, what else!? I sense I’ll conquer the easy biome this week, then it’s either onto a harder biome or a different game as a palate cleanser.
