I improved: made it to level 9 out of 15 in The King of Dragons. Exhausted!

Yeah it is. I played a bit of it years ago then picked it up again and finished it this last spring or summer. I hope Rise and Shadow are nearly as good.

For me, since the Yule Festival has begun, it’ll be plenty of Lord of the Rings Online, as well as some Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor and still trying to pass my flight test for Air Hauler 2. Probably also some Strike Fighers 2 and Destiny 2.

I WAS enjoying Tomb Raider until I hit this impassable portion of the game that I’ve failed at maybe a dozen times or so. I hate when that happens.

Man, I’m kind of torn. Should I try to wrap up The Outer Worlds, or start a new game like Rage 2? Or keep it light with some other smaller Game Pass games like Wandersong, which looks like a charming little game. Kind of paralyzed since I’ll be going out of town in about a week.

Finally got some time for games with the semester over. First priority is to get in some more…

Oh. and maybe some Anno 1800 on the free trial, too - we’ll see.

Some arcade games, as usual, DivOrSin 2 for 2 hours before my brain explodes, as usual, and probably some computer games thanks to this awesome piece of custom made hardware which allows me to sit relatively properly in front of my table:

I’m going to play some more Titanfall 2 campaign (I think 3 chapters ), try the turn based mod for Pathfinder Kingmaker - Below the Stolen Lands, and probably some Automachef.

Great hot lashings of Phoenix Point. The game that taught me how to spell Phoenix.

Phoenix Point
Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries
Path of Exile

I’m probably forgetting something. Busy weekend.

Witcher 3 on my Switch, and Divinity Original Sin 2 on my PC and Switch. Plus some Borderlands 3. Should be a fun gaming weekend.

Outer Wilds to see what all the GOTY buzz is about

Starlink: Battle for Atlas (Xbox)

This was $15 on Xbox, and I heard that even though the game is one of these “buy Amiibo-like toys in real life to unlock stuff” games, there was still a couple bucks worth of content in the game even if you don’t buy all the toy junk. So I bought it. I’ve played it an hour or two, and even though the frame rate is garbage, I think there’s enough there to keep me occupied through the weekend. I’ve been in the mood for a casual shooter and this seems about on par with that.

Golf Story (Nintendo Switch)

I haven’t played this in a couple year so I started over yesterday. One day I will finish this game. It’s funny, and worth my time, but I am always distracted by bigger, flashier games… which often makes me forget about tame little games like Golf Story.

Darksiders: Genesis (GOG)

Good game. Glad I bought it.

Anno 1800.

Though Fire Emblem is an acceptable win, I really wanted to see Anno 1800 get the nod just to encourage them.

City builders are the best games, and I’ve been dying to play this one but I’m cheap. The sale going right now brings the Gold edition down to ~$35 (from $95!), which is just fantastic. Early xmas gift!

Also, I forgot that Deep Sky Derelicts just got a new DLC. Damn, lots of stuff to play, and I haven’t even started looking at sales yet…

Path of Exile
Transport Fever 2
Maybe Grim Dawn
Maybe Pillars of Eternity: Deadfire

Going to a choral concert tonight and have a Christmas music gig tomorrow with one of my bands so my time is getting chopped up left and right

Kicked the weekend off with a bunch of Borderlands 3, then spent the entire evening beating one enemy in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (Lone Shadow Longswordsman mini-boss…)

Today I’m out, so it’s mobile gaming with some Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Switch and a bunch of VR on the Quest.

… what?

Oh I’m entertaining children so it actually ends up being mostly Richie’s Plank Experience atm - they love it. Over and over… ;)

But we also do some Thrill of the Fight where ‘punching the ref’ is a sport unto itself.

And I also played Angry Birds Isle of Pigs VR, and Path of the Warrior which is the (short) Streets of Rage style beat em up.

I genuinely meant “uh?” because I have no idea how you play The Quest in VR and how you are doing it on the move!
