I am actually playing this for the first time.

And I do not hate it. Though I do not like the bugs. By bugs I mean literally “bugs” in the game as in the flying insects.

Cool! Thinking of getting one myself to emulate the venerable Amiga 1200. The FPGA tech is cool.

What’s your machine of choice?

Tell me something. I tried playing some of that for a bit (steam version) a while back and it seemed that every darn time I fired it up I had to “sign into the Cerberus Network” with my EA Login. And since one can’t even paste the password in I had to type it in every time. What gives? Have you experienced this?

If anyone else knows what I’m missing here, please enlighten me.

Nothing this weekend but a bit of planet fall yesterday, more to come during the week. :D

I grabbed it mainly for the 8bits computers: the CPC first, because none of my Amstrads got working floppy drives anymore; the C64 and ZX next, because I never knew them first hand, and I was told the Mister was the next best thing to a real C64 — that was pretty much what triggered the purchase, after I was demonstrated the issues of the C64 Mini which I was considering.
I only learned it could do the Amiga last week, but I’m more of an 8bits guy.

Then last month, I couldn’t find my Megadrive and Mega CD again after a move, nor my Super Nintendo pads. And my PC Engine pads aren’t working anymore excepting for a single Hori one.
So that little (it’s so tiny!) thing solves a lot of issues at once.

Papa
No, I just go on in. On steam version, I never put any EA password in to play. I will double check how I log in in a bit to be sure. I hate that UB/EA extra login stuff.

This game is an anomaly with regard to what I usually play. I mean, gameplay wise, it is most running along linear tunnels/caves/areas with intermittent battles and then a boss battle. But that Bioware charm has kept me at it (characters/story) so we shall see.

I have never experienced it, but I have always played it directly from EA. It’s a smoother experience then messing with Steam.

I think ME:Andromeda required doing the EA thing.

Also, the strongest point of all ME games is the party interaction, just like the DA games.

Thanks, @KristiGaines and @legowarrior. Last night as a test I started a new game and went through the whole intro sequence and character creation, and met the first two dudes, listened to a couple of audio logs. Took me a while to figure out exactly what they wanted me to do to hack a data pad but eventually I managed it.
And may I say, FemShep is BestShep. I think I went with Mireille for a first name.

So what is that Cerberus Network login even there for?

You get a few free DLC and items right away.

I don’t know if its Mass Effect 2 or 3, but if you own several other EA games from that era, like Dragon Age Origin, you get free cool armor.

I played some Dead Cells after having picked up the new DLC. It is really good, and the new areas are cool.

So all the games I was going to play this weekend went down the toilet when I fired up Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark. I picked it up last week when it was on sale and booted it up on a whim Saturday morning just to check it out. I’ve put five and a half hours into it since yesterday morning and I might have to stop playing it because this could start to take me away from daily chores. Why didn’t anyone tell me how good this game is?

Pretty much the exact same as last weekend.

Not a lot of gaming time this weekend, but Monster Hunter World: Iceborne would probably account for most of it anyway. Also, Slay the Spire and perhaps The Division 2.

I’m exploring the wonders of the Commodore 64 on the MiSTer.

Path of Exile in the Delirium league, which launches today.

Stellaris. I remembered that I hadn’t finished a game with the Ancient Relics-expansion, so I decided to jump in and get that done before the Federations-expansion launches next week. I played an organic hive-mind empire, and got the Contingency end-game crisis. I hadn’t gotten that before, I think. Managed to crank out some achievements too. Looking forward to Federations!

Well, I finished Kingdom Come:Deliverance today and figure to start Bloodborne tomorrow.

Divinity Original Sin 2 (Steam)

Making great progress.

Crusader Kings 2 (Steam)

Every few years I install this and beat my head against a wall. But this year I happened to catch a solid playthrough that taught me a few things so I decided to install it and try it again. This time I actually accomplished something. I still have no idea if it will sink its hooks into me, but I’d like to be able to appreciate it and have the sorts of fun the massive fanbase of the game seems to enjoy.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (Switch)

I’ve been ignoring this for too long because it felt like so much to tackle. But I’ve decided to start killing at least 1 new monsters a week.

Been playing the shit out of Divinity Original Sin 2…and I hated the first one. The second one is a huge improvement.

Also trying to make hide or hair out of Black Desert Online. Not having a ton of luck. Finding the UI nigh impenetrable.
