Hoping to get some sweet Quake Champions action in between other stuff. Shame that some people are having server issues this week and I wish I had more people I know to play with.

There’s a ton of really great movement mechanics for different champions and I find it a fun stress reliever (I’m weird).

Otherwise I still have more Zelda on tap and I keep meaning to finish Dishonored 2.

The Far Cry 5 announcement reminded me I have a bunch of unplayed Far Cry games in my backlog, so I started with Primal last weekend, and just got my first sabertooth pet last night - the first one I encountered (aside from the one in the intro). I’ve been thus far disappointed in the paper mache wolf and lion, and the brown bear wasn’t a lot better, but this smilodon is fucking shit up proper.

Spot-on review, by the way!
I hope the game gets the attention it deserves, beyond its simplistic yet confusing yet again charming (to me, at least) looks.

I started out the weekend playing The Saboteur on Friday. Then on Saturday, my load game took me back to the beginning of the game, wiping out my progress. I moved on to What Remains of Edith Finch and got stuck at the part where you’re an owl trying to catch a momma rabbit. So I gave up on that game as well.

Ended up playing Dragon Age Inquisition and really enjoying it so far.

Played almost exclusively Pathfinder Adventure Card Game to mid-chapter 4 and also some (unexpectedly) Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition!

I played a little bit of a lot of different stuff. Mostly Pathfinder Adventures (which is pretty awesome), but also SPAZ 2, Drox Operative, Dragon’s Dogma, with a good bit of Portal Knights with the kid.

If it makes you feel any better, I only had time for two of them. :P

Ah, so you’re only human after all. Better luck next weekend.

How dare you.

I ended up playing Final Fantasy XV, and spent most of the time lamenting there was no recent news on a PC version. Even on a Pro it’s kinda painful.

We’re heading down to Puerto Penasco, MX for the weekend to visit friends who have retired down there and scope it out as a possible retirement destination for ourselves. I wlll have my tablet, which means I can get in some Pathfinder Adventures and Race for the Galaxy.

Of course, today would bethe day I finally get into the Battlestar Galactica Deadlock beta, but that will have to wait until Monday :(.

I have just been playing Everquest again on the new Agnarr progression server. hangs head

I’ll probably start Shiren or continue chipping away at Crypt of the Necrodancer on the Vita. I’ve got Firewatch lined up too.

Battle Brothers and Zafehouse Diaries 2

I was looking into this one and watched a Let’s Play. It looked interesting, but watching, it seemed like the rules were so byzantine that strategy was next to impossible. But maybe that’s just the way it looked watching someone else play.

Any input on this?

I am closing in on the true ending for Witcher 3, I think. I doubt I get there this weekend, but I can probably close Novigrad out. Already did Avalach and Triss’ missions. Am in the middle of Ciri’s.

There is one more big quest line I think I’ll run through. Also debating if I want to chase down the final stage of upgrades for weapons, which probably pushes me to next weekends for sure.

Also probably a bit of some of the freshly released Sega Genesis games on iOS. Because those are easy to sneak in a level here or there.

Depends on what video you watched, I guess. The rules are pretty straight forward. Saying the rules looked so “byzantine that strategy is impossible” is a little confusing to me. What do you mean, exactly?

Without knowing for sure what you mean, I’ll say there is a ton of strategy in the game. What locations do you start your guys at? Do you double up and have more than one (or even all your party) on a single location? Do you close it immediately or hold off to deplete it’s possible fruit? When do you play cards to assist on checks? When do you play that Charm Person spell in your hand, or that Augury? That sort of thing. It’s a strategy game more than an RPG, for example.

Why am I playing Skyrim again?

DiRT 4!

Now that I finally have it working. I’m really, really looking forward to it.

On the Xbox One these days, I finally heeded the siren call of the Witch Doctor in Diablo 3. I’m making my way through the game for the first time as that character. It’s sooooo bizarre throwing spider jars and toads and dropping acid on people and having what looks like polar bears coming out of the ground around me as an attack. I’m finally starting to see the beauty of this bizarre character now that I’m in Act 2.

On the PS4, I’m going to continue watching Futurama on Netflix so that I can get through the seasons before they disappear on July 1st.
