Powered through the end of the Ezio part of the plot in AC Brotherhood, and WOW, that puzzle room at the end of the Desmond part is some SERIOUS BS. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason to how those things come up out of the floor or retract. They give you no guidance on what to do either.
For some reason, I got nostalgic and decided to reinstall Alien Shooter 2: Reloaded (GOG link).
Super-simple controls, interesting level design, primitive graphics (1024 x 768), but looks just fine on a 27" monitor. Isometric perspective. Sort of like a basic version of the Crusader games. Lotta mindless fun and action. Literally paint the floors red with alien blood. Runs just fine on Win 10, and every version of Windows I’ve ever tried it on.
I’ve started this game many times over the years, but never get more than a few levels in, primarily because it does get a bit difficult, and the game only saves after completing each level, and each level can take a while. I keep going back to it though because it is pure fun. Some really basic RPG elements as well. Nice little diversion between more serious games.
It’s going to be a fun videogame weekend.

Looks like I’ll be getting back into Xcom 2 again, in a big way.

Antihero, Urban Empire (I read that the last couple of patches turned it into a decent game), Battlestar Galactica Deadlock (beta)
Busy weekend, so not much gaming for me. For the blog I plan to hit:

And hopefully some of this if I have time:

If I have any time left I’ll play these for myself"

Antihero and some more Dishonored 2.
I have loads of stuff t start from the Steam sale, but I think the Grimoire thread has me wanting to dabble in Albion or Ishar.
For some reason I have fallen into a Football Manager 2017 hole, which hasn’t happened in ages. Not sure if I will get out again just yet, which is a shame as I have much better things I could be doing with my time. If I do, I’ll try and finish off Dear Esther which probably won’t take long. And I’ll no doubt fire up Realm Grinder for 5 minutes every now and again for some entirely pointless gaming.
I’ve been replaying the first Kingdom Hearts (via the PS3 collection that features the special “Final Mix” version) for the past week or so, so I’m continuing to play that.
Once you get past the absurd core premise, the awful minigames, and one of the worst cameras I’ve ever had the misfortune of using, you’re left with a pretty solid action RPG. I look forward to playing Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories, the PS2 remake of the GBA card-based action RPG, and Kingdom Hearts II, a really good rail shooter with some lame action RPG sections between stages.

Elite: Dangerous on the Rift.
I hope to finish Act V in Diablo III.
I also hope to continue rallying in the Welsh countryside in DiRT 4.
If there’s time for anything else, then some more Ratchet & Clank.
I’m also hoping I can finally finish Super Mario Run on my phone. I just have one black coin to go. I know how to get it, I’ve even gotten it before, but I just need to put together a perfect run where I get that coin and the other 4 black coins in the same run.
I can barely do this anymore for all-time genre classics!
Also, looks like I’ll be checking out this Gettysburg Kickstarter game this weekend.
Likely more Warframe, more DCS, and a crack at the now almost-finished Ultimate General: Civil War.

I’m almost through the boring opening parts, so I’ll probably be spending a bunch of time with Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. The non-console time will be more Antihero and Pathfinder Adventures. Such a good year for gaming in the genres I like.

I am playing Neverwinter Nights 2. I got it off GoG a couple weeks ago and am trying to finish it before my new PC arrives. It’s gonna be close. I played NWN1 many years ago and thought I would give this a try.
I don’t think it is near as good as Baldur’s Gate, IceWind Dale or Divine Divinity. But I am enjoying it.
Playing some Diablo 3 (making a hardcore crusader and maybe nek-romancer) and a little Cosmoteer.

That looks interesting. It is free?
Yes, dear, but I think he intends to sell it eventually.

Probably play some more Antihero campaign and make more progress in Prey.
