It shows for me, but I already have the game. Maybe he’s stopped selling it.

I’ll figure out Gladiabots tomorrow (need sleep now).

Cheers, figured it could’ve been something like that. At the 50k crates now, so only 1 crate per gold mission… takes a while.

Yesterday there was a 11 or 12 wave mission that gave around 100k per round, was kinda nice to get some actual cash monies for doing the rounds instead of having to do multiple missions before you could get a medkit, a rocket launcher and some ammo, and possibly 1 item you wanted + a mod, if you were lucky. I was hoping the 5 and 20k would’ve given more “good stuff” but it seems that once you exhaust the normal loot table of items for the rank, you do not get a higher chance at uncommon etc, but rather, you get more consumables instead :(

Tried the platinum(?) difficulty; we made it to wave 3 but the entire team decided they should go to the Hacking spot, instead of letting me do it solo (as I could cloak). So time ran out. Hate it what people do not think, and with no chat either, hard to communicate. At least they could’ve let you “mark” areas for orders, like in the solo game.

Titanfall 2! Finally a game that has taken my attention away from Overwatch…

Yay!!!

Is there still an active community for E&B somewhere?

Also, when are you streaming it?

Most likely some Diablo 3. Also Albion Online, and possibly BF1.

I will return to gaming life again with my newly purchased copy of Planescape Torment EE, then explore Qto3’s opinion on Tides of Numenera and see if I should pick it up.

Gladiabots looks to be right up my alley. I’llhave to check out some Let’s Plays

I’m out of town, so I’m finally playing Twilight Struggle iOS. Made it through 2 rounds!

Uh --Broken record here: Rome: Total War 2 Hannibal at the Gates campaign. But looking for an average to complex Battle of Britain game.

Yup, it’s pretty active based on my last visit. I’ll be streaming at 9 am Pacific on Sunday.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Hearthstone, as usual, and I’ll try to check out the new Frontier Defense mode in Titanfall 2.

Diablo 3 - loving the Necromancer. Ghost Recon Wildlands to check out the chopper update. Maybe some Total War Warhammer. Want to go back to XCOM 2 and Civ 6 but where I am going to find the time I just don’t know.

Why are human lifespans so short???

I am going to be buried with all of my hard drives so I can bring my games with me to the afterlife.

I’ve been reaching into my backlog and playing Bloodborne and Sengoku Jidai.

Both awesome games - not sure why I bounced off of both of them the first time I tried it last year.

The same thing happened to me with Bloodborne the first time. When I went back to it after finishing Dark Souls, I finally understood it better. Plus people in the Bloodborne thread helped a lot with that aspect too.

I’m basically playing Diablo 3 this weekend, mixed in with a little DiRT 4 and Path of Exile Beta. And maybe a bit of Dark Souls 3.

After repeated viewings of various Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus videos, such as this most excellent one, I finally got motivated to reinstall Wolfenstein: The New Order for the third time.

I barely got started with the game back when it first released back in 2014. Then my hard drive died. Upon replacing the hard drive, I got distracted with other games and never went back. I did reinstall it last year again, and was really enjoying it, and then I got bit by the “I need a new computer” bug, because my rig was 6 or 7 years old, and was having troubles with a few 1440p games. I think I got to Chapter 4 that time.

So now here I am. And that video I inked to was go great, I wondered why I never finished The New Order, so I reinstalled it, and yep, it is still a great deal of fun. Hopefully, this time I can finish it.

That’s a cunning plan, but I fear there may not even be enough time in the afterlife. I yearn for the good old days when there were a handful of good games a year you could really sink your teeth into. I am in a constant state of guilt and self loathing due to my impulse buying compulsions and the fact that I simultaneously know I will only ever sample the superficial delights of 98% of the games I buy. The surfeit of riches in the industry has turned a blowtorch on my personality defects.

Which segues nicely into the fact that we really need a new thread to capture:

“What you said you would play on the weekend vs. what you really played on the weekend”.

I got lured down two entertaining blind alleys - Northgard, which is really a rather good time sink, and Sniper Elite 3 which is - how to put this delicately? - glitchy and ham handed but still sort of fun. Picked it up on the cheap and is proving to be an entertaining diversion keeping me from more nutritious (but arduous) fare such as my TW dwarf campaign. In my defense I did play Diablo 3 as planned - somehow I find the Necromancer disproportionately powerful compared to the character classes I have played before - but hell, killing demons with exploding corpses never gets old.

XCOM 2. Is it August 29th yet?

It’s been so long since I played Age of Empires. I bought the HD version of AOE 2 and 3 during the summer sale and played the tutorial campaign this weekend. It felt familiar on one hand, but I’ve forgotten what all of the upgrades do. Luckily the William Wallace campaign doesn’t really have much push back from the AI - it will be interesting to see how I do during the next campaign.

We used to play AoE during lunch at work. Single player I preferred the campaigns to skirmish as I like having specific objectives to meet. If I remember correctly as long as you hang in there during the campaigns the AI eventually kinda just folds after a while.
