Great now it’s going to irritate me now.

The cursor even changes to the hand. The hand that clicks on things. I’m not an FPSer; I shouldn’t have to land on the text.
If you double-click the forum with that hand, you can mark the forum read.
Ah, interesting. Apparently double clicking on it marks the entire sub-forum as read. I never knew that and wait, why the hell did I just do that? Great, now I don’t know what threads I haven’t read.

Here, I’ll bump this one for you.

Something I’ve been seeing a lot lately-- people writing “aww” as “awe”.
“Awe, cute!”
RAGE.
People not closing there applications when they are done at the shared family computer.
When other people dismiss criticism of a superhero movie because comic fans are too insistent on the lore or because non-fans just don’t get it.
Fuck you. A movie should stand on its own.

Are you seeing that in texts?
I notice iOS is pretty adamant about autocorrecting “aw” to “awe”
People writing “there” when they mean “their” instead.

Maybe that’s what went wrong in Iraq? “Shock and aww!” didn’t work out as well when we dropped baby pictures on insurgents.

People at work who send multiple email requests for the same thing, with seemingly no recollection of the previous emails.
I do that here. People just link me back to the original thread. I’m always so grateful!

Apostrophe misuse.
Also the terrible linkbait put at the bottom of sites like PC Gamer. I know they pay the bills, but they’re such trash content.
Looks like this custom filter in AdblockPlus will take care of (at least Taboola–probably will work for Outbrain etc)
taboolasyndication.com^$third-party
But how else am I going to know where to find the best 10 pics of Derek Jeter’s girlfriend?

Yep, works for Outbrain, nRelate etc. No more “related shit from the Web.”
McAfee’s fucking malware.
It’s the only way to describe it. Just “fixed” another PC (and it’s broken internet access and IE8) by switching it to MSE
(Blank IE, and McAfee? Step 1, load IE without addons. Step 2, disable McAfee’s crap which is stopping IE loading…)
“Although I’ve had nothing to do with the company for over 15 years”. Hah. Nice one :)
