It makes me rather nerd-ragey (or at least nerd-irritatedy) when people refer to Panasonic as “Panny.” It’s like the hi-tech equivalent of referring to a sandwich as a “sammy.” Or a vehicle transmission as a “tranny.”

I have never heard that one, but it does remind me of when I played World of Warcraft as a “pally.” I wanted to strangle everyone in the world.

by the way, patience is great, but given the choice to spend an hour to teach people how to do x,y,z so it never happens again or suffer through 59 minutes spread out over the rest of our lives, most of us would choose to teach. but we don’t have the choice so we have to suffer for no apparent reason.

Because I want to see detail. I cannot tell if that’s the native resolution for that game or not - but I hate coming across thumbnails of modern games, only to be awarded with a full sized image that’s so small you can’t even make out the words on the screen. Tons of sites are still doing this and I find it quite frustrating.
