Just got a new pc and this is not connected. What’s it for? I haven’t built a PC in maybe ten years. Thanks.

Probably a header interface between your case and motherboard. Usually used for LEDs, switches, audio, etc. What’s it going to, the case?

Thanks for the help. This isn’t a ROG, it’s an ibuypower. I guess I’ll plug it in to one of the pin sets like in the ROG pic.

First track where it is going on the case. If the case has a manual that’s an excellent starting point.

Then find the motherboard manual and see exactly what those headers on the MB do. As we suggested it’s likely an LED header and based on the normally cryptic labels it looks like that is indeed what you want.
