Well, it’s especially rich considering I’ve donated to B’tselem.

Smokescreen.

So, my supporting an Israeli NGO whose outlook you disagree with is …proof I can’t tell the difference between a people, a government, and a nation?

(btw you’re in awesome company)

One of these days, people will just stop responding to obvious trolls like Dawn, Andy, Octonoo, Scuzz, etc.

And P&R will be oh so much more signal and oh so much less noise.

Every time you quote Dawn Falcon, an angel gets its wings.

That reminds me, did you know Dawn Falcon once date raped David Bowie?

No, I’m actually enjoying how Dawn is telling me my support for a left-wing NGO in Israel means I hate Jews because I can’t tell the difference between people and policy.

[citation needed]

If you actually followed Israeli news instead of white knighting for Yisrael Beitenu on the internet, you’d know that this isn’t just happenstance, it’s the subject of a major bill currently before the Knesset that seeks to defund any NGO that the government deems insufficiently patriotic.

Oh wait, I hate Jews, I don’t know anything, arglebarglehurfdurf

You still haven’t explained how my support for an Israeli NGO means I hate Jews.

So, you’ve said my sending money to an Israeli NGO is proof that I am anti-semitic and cannot tell the difference between a government and it’s people.

Your justification of this statement is… well, you have none. You said they were pro-Palestinian - which is, to put it mildly, disputable, but what the hell! We’ll just let you have that one. They give Mahmoud Abbas sloppy wet kisses every Wednesday. OK.

That still has nothing to do with your initial assertion - that support of an Israeli NGO is proof I am anti-semitic and cannot distinguish between Israeli the nation and its people.

Unless… are you saying that having pro-Palestinian opinions makes you automatically anti-Semitic? Because… wouldn’t that be the exact thing you’re accusing me of?

Which is why I’m greatly amused. Although the joke is kind of ruined when you spell it out like that.

OK, it took me long enough. You’re doing an Andy Kaufman, aren’t you. Sorry, you needed a little more ironic distance on that one. Better job next time.

(sorry for the quote, DF-ignorers, but come on, it’s in one self-contained cube of gel!)

Evidence?

Dawn, what on the hell are you going on about here? For chrissakes.

Well apparently I dedicated myself to the extermination of his people. I’m not sure how, but B’tselem is apparently involved.

David Erikson’s just still pissed that I called him out for having such a ridiculous slant he supports racist acts (banning Arab parties) that even Israelis think are wrong, racist and downright illegal.

You know, back a few pages, David Erikson and a couple of others jumped on me for daring to point out that Dawn Falcon was showing bias. Now DF is calling Lum a “Jew Hater” I feel vindicated. I wasn’t going to bother pointing that out, but as he jumped back into the fray it seemed reasonable.

To be called an anti-Semite by someone like David Erikson, just shows I inhabit some ground to the left of racist Arab hater.
