Keep trying to reverse what I say - classic bad faith argument stuff from you.

Does this series of posts make sense to you, in your own brain?
14-2985-cv. Very much so.

Personally, I have a dream, that one day we sign on to the ICoJ, and someone takes that asshole Cheney down for as many years as he has left. Kind of wish they’d make an exception for the death penalty for that guy.

It’s not just you, I don’t understand them either.
I don’t understand Starlight either, and I follow British English.
It’s easier once you set aside expectations of discussion and come back to the fact that he’s a dedicated threadshitter posting here under a second account, with a bizarre habit of retroactively editing out his posts.
Keep hating, AMERIKAN. You’re carrying water for your cause under the guise of personal attacks, of course.
Yea, the problem seems to be that I responded to Timex’s deliberately confusing bad faith argument, my bad.

Do you think that it’s possible that you aren’t being quite as clear in your message as you believe yourself to be?
No, the problem is your bad faith arguments which are deliberately confusing.

Try to calm down.
We were talking about various international organizations and their effectiveness. You said something about me agreeing to feed hungry people, which I didn’t understand due to your phrasing. Obviously, I was not alone in that failure to understand you.
Then, you brought up the Microsoft case with the data stored on Irish servers. I don’t understand how you’re making this leap, or what point you’re trying to make about it. I don’t understand how it’s relevant to the argument about effectiveness of international organizations, or feeding hungry people.
“Calm down”.
Which is a core argument of bad faith argument, the claim that someone else is not entitled to hold a view. It’s clear that’s been what you’ve been doing all along the that Juan is essentially correct.
American.

I’m not saying you can’t hold a view, guy. I’m telling you that you are kind of freaking out, and it’s preventing you from holding a coherent discussion.
Seriously, you aren’t making any sense at all. You’re jumping all over the place, and no one else understands your train of thought.
And yes, I am fully aware of the Microsoft case, if it’s the one I think. If I recall, it centered around whether or not the US DoJ could issue a subpoena to a corporation and force them to provide data which was stored in on a server existing in another country.
I believe that the current findings of the court were that yes, they could, because the subpoena was being issued to Microsoft, which existed as a corporate entity within the United States, and that the fact that they were storing data in other countries did not make them immune to US law while operating in the US.
I’m not sure how that case pertains to the efficiency of the UN.

I see that you edited out the part where you claimed I wasn’t familiar with the Microsoft case, but hopefully you understand that I am at least superficially familiary with it now.
I see you’ve looked it up at this late date to support your bad-faith arguments. You are demanding that I not be allowed to hold a view, saying that my view is “freaking out”, to be precise, and that despite the fact that Microsoft, Ireland, etc. all share my views that we’re all “nobodies”
Your refusal to admit that other views can be allowed rolls on, as you defend the US government blindly, ignoring any possible consequences of trampling other countries laws, in those countries, because America. Certainly it means you were lying when you said you’d obey the laws of other countries when you went to them.

I’m sorry man, I can’t parse your meaning, and you aren’t willing to calmly discuss it, so I’m gonna have to just stop talking to you.
No, you’re deliberately trolling me, and then saying I won’t “calmly” discuss it, when you are the one spewing the nonsense that I’m magically not-calm because I’m not agreeing with you at every step of the way.
You can run away from discussion, of course, nothing’s changed then. I know you’re treating me as dumb since I ain’t American, but you’re not fooling me.
Are we still talking about the weird “thus” sentence, which seems like it has since been edited away? Because, for what little it may be worth, I couldn’t really parse that either.

It’s awesome that Starlight has seemingly gone back and retconned all his posts in the thread, and the edit times are all within like a minute of each other.
