Absolutely it can be, and in those places you mentioned it has been. I haven’t seen any indication that Hamas desires to remove the option of violence. For Hamas, ownership of “from the river to the sea” is not just about legality, it’s about religion, it’s about pride, and frankly I think it is about hatred of Jews.

There’s no viable Presidential candidate who would support such a position right now. It’s lose/lose, since you’d get pilloried by both mainstream Democrats and Republicans.
It wouldn’t even get a vote in congress.

I think that part of the problem with this, is that I believe the leaders of Hamas are personally benefiting from the relationship with Iran in a way that the US may not be willing to engage in. The amount of international money flowing into Palestine isn’t going to the Palestinian people. Their leadership is stealing from them.

Americans specialize in that sort of arrangement.
How is it Israel keeps “accidentally” targeting healthcare in Gaza?
I’d also like to note all the issues with Hamas is Israel’s own fault. Israel helped create them.

Check the wikipedia article on Islamic activism in Gaza. The suggestion that Israel “created Hamas” seems a bit overstated.
According to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, they weren’t targeted at all.

That suggests the airstrike was on the MOH, which is the Palestinian ministry of health. Why was an airstrike issued against that target?
Don’t know, haven’t dug that deep into it. I just saw that tweet from the Gravel Institute was already addressed by the media and shown to be deceptive.
EDIT: According to the NYT it looks like Israel bombed the street and the damage to buildings was collateral.
Well the violence there was decisive, as in one side decisively lost, and got booted out (Falklands, Gibraltar) or was subjugated more comprehensively than Hamas, or was divided (Cyprus, literally divided, with a UN buffer zone.
Maybe a Cyprus solution could work for Palestine and Israel?

Attacking random Jews in LA to advance Palestinian rights.
Yeah, that very nicely sums up my position.
Egypt brokered a cease fire.
Happened in NYC and London as well. Truly disgusting.

I think that in any group of protestors, you are going to have people who just like protesting because it gives them an excuse to raise hell.
What you need is what you saw in a lot of the BLM rallies, where the “normal” protestors shut that kind of shit down when they saw it.
There’s also the contingent who are protesting to meet chicks.

Of course they could be the force of justice and paragon of virtue if they had not killed hundreds of women and children in just past couple of weeks. What is a bomb or two or two hundred thrown at families and killing civilians indiscriminately. Yes I can think of few more good scenarios than killing of 12-13 members of same family with their board games spread out and having the decency of keeping one of those children alive. May be a better scenario would be leaving half of them alive but you can’t get everything. Right? One kid alive to remember his dead siblings would do for now. Quite generous, in fact.
Also all the land grab and illegal occupation are such good acts as well. They could have bombed the land owners first and then settled in across the west bank but they have the decency to push people out and settle in peacefully in their lands.
Let’s hope these good acts stop soon.

If the Israelis behaved like Hamas, they would just fire missiles indiscriminately into Palestinian population centers, and then the conflict would be over because all the Palestinians world be dead.
I see you guys are still wasting your breath talking past each other.
This thread is a mini reenactment of why absolutely nothing changes about this problem.
