Thanks for noting that @LockerK . I need to give that a try.
Really? Because of the type of game it is, I automatically assumed it would be too hard for me. They should publicize this more somehow.
Well if you have questions, be sure to ask. People cough here many hours of experience to answer from.
It does have its moments, but I would say pretty much all of the bosses and platforming challenges I’ve encountered I’ve been able to tackle after three or four tries, which in my mind could be a lot worse. I recommend giving it a try!
Cool. Wishlisted. I’m always looking for good platformers. I know you didn’t like Ori in a lot of ways, but it was one of my favorite games last year, and this looks similar in some ways.
Am playing through the entire Assassin’s Creed series. Um, not all this weekend, though. (With the exception of the first AC because that’s just terrible.)
Am weaving through Italy with Ezio already.
What @Knightsaber said!
Although in a jumbled up order.
Finishing off AC Syndicate now, and am somewhere in the middle of Origins. As soon as Syndicate is finished, Exio Collection will start up.
Might - just MIGHT - even consider giving AC1 another hour before I give up on it.
…and now I just realized I have family visiting me all weekend so maybe not so much after all. I’ll have to show them the beauty of Origins though. Probably some co-op game with my sister as well, Borderlands or Diablo III.
So if I just skip to Assassin’s Creed 2, I may actually come to like this series? Because I really hated AC1 and never played another game in the series.
I played both, and I can tell you that compared to Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed 1 is just a tech demo. A fairly impressive tech demo but still. Assassin’s Creed 2 is a fully fleshed-out game.
I played it near the time it came out (at most a year later) on the 360 and loved it to bits. Honestly, though, it may be a bit dated by now, not only graphics-wise but in terms of gameplay. I would play it on the PC and max out the visuals for sure. You get to see the Florence and Venice of the Renaissance, which is neat.
Pro tip: play with Italian voice acting and English subtitles. Some of the “Italian” accents in English are downright terrible.
Tomorrow is a holiday here, so the weekend is starting early for me!
It will be Templar Battleforce (boy, I loooove that thing), Virginia and Bayonetta.
I can’t believe I never had thought of this :O
I feel like I ruined my whole experience!
I pretty much did it as soon as I heard Ezio’s Uncle Mario open his mouth.
I’m playing AC:Origns all weekend. I’m exploring the inside of the Giza pyramids with my son and explaining what all the objects are. Chariots, linens, jugs, statues, the names of the Egyptian gods (He likes the eagle headed god, Horus).
And at night, I’ll settle my score against that roaming death machine in Memphis called The Stranger. He is making quests in Memphis a pain in the ass because he shows up at the worst times. One time he even responded to a brazier call. He’s got to go. It’s revenge time.
For me it’s mostly Nioh and Guild Wars 2. I might add a little bit of World of Final Fantasy, and Heat Signature to fill the blanks. We’ll see.
I continue playing Wolfenstein II for it’s long and excellent campaign.
I’m still playing through Grim Dawn with my Purifier, and might go back to my Necromancer at some point, maybe next week.
Path of Exile.
I’ve been playing Star Wars Battlefront 2, Destiny 2, and Super Mario Odyssey (just hit 500 moons).
Still trying to get to Divinity Original Sin 2, instead I am playing my new purchase, RimWorld.
Tip? Climb atop one of the temple pillars (it’s a synch point) and throw firebombs and arrows at him from there. He can’t climb up there, and his route takes him directly under it every once in a while :)
I played some Forza Horizon 3 last night, which is just ridiculously pretty and I’d been meaning to get for a while since I’d upgraded to Windows 10. Today I continued playing Wolfenstein 2. I’ve just gotten to the States. Don’t want to spoil anything but the first place is so eerie.
AC Origins and Antihero.
