Some of the ideas out there include features which would exist within our universe which would be good indirect evidence for how multiple universes would form, if we detected them unambiguously.
There’s a really annoying kind of “multiple universe” often talked about which is basically “more stuff beyond the limits of communication”; ie, because information can only travel at the speed of light, parts of the “universe” beyond the light cone of the observable universe should be considered separate universes. I understand why that’s described that way but it doesn’t feel like multiple universes in a countable sense.
It’s almost time for actual people to ride the SpaceX Dragon. Here’s some of the contingency plans:
We are but pixels in the vast monitor of the LORD.
And then Satan drilled the holes. Get with the program man!
No way! Old Testament God is a dick. He did it.
WaPo is doing some nice reporting on the SpaceX launch here are some videos.
I’m super nervous about tomorrows launch.

Its going to go great. The rocket has a great track record and the capsule is a version of something that is also tried and tested plenty. At least something goes right in these terrible times.

Link for the YouTube stream of today’s launch:
Super excited to see this launch. Unfortunately it does look like the odds are pretty low it happens today. Iffy weather at the cape all day and poor looking weather downrange where they have to track for possible abort scenarios. Next launch attempt would be Saturday.
Thanks for posting the stream link, I believe the launch is set for 4:30pm est.

Looks pretty overcast on the livestream. I guess they have to go through all this load-in stuff just in case everything clears up by launch time, but I don’t imagine they’re going to launch in anything but the absolute perfect weather.
Wow, the hatch on that capsule is enormous! No shoehorning into the capsule as in the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo days.

Haha, yeah. Everything about the capsule looks like it’s miles ahead of anything NASA ever did, from the seats to the controls to the space suits themselves.
SpaceX is also really stream savvy in their productions, with graphics and other imagery designed just to make the viewing experience better.

The space suits look strange to me. Like Leisure Suits in Spaaaaaaace!

Look at how huge that capsule is, too. There are two empty seats, plus plenty of room for the helpers to be in there strapping them in and getting things prepped.
