Uh, the black and white quickie notification display? Maybe if I know what it’s called I can figure out how to trigger it reliably. Accelerometer? IR?
You mean when your phone is laying down and the notifications show up on the lockscreen? Ambient display?
It’s not Moto-specific though. This has appeared in 5.1 for my OnePlus One and Nexus 5.
It’s like Nokia/Windows Phone’s uh, Glance or something.
Pretty sure it’s Ambient Display. Moto’s version is called Moto Display, and when Google added Ambient Display, it actually conflicts with Moto Display, hence why I have it off.
