I think we’ll know more once AMD announces their stuff. It will be more equivalent to one of their entries.

Any idea when AMD is doing a reveal? I can’t imagine they want Nvidia hogging the spotlight all of September.

Next-gen consoles are roughly a RTX2080 or RTX2080 Super, so the RTX3070 should be markedly faster than either if it meets its rumored 2080ti performance.

MLID says AMD won’t likely ship until late in the year. There’s little point announcing anything this far out, but AMD will likely start opening up once Nvidia commits, especially if they like what they see. AMD will have a better idea of where they sit in terms of performance, and they’ll also want to stem people from buying before their cards are out.

3080 vs my current 1080 looking very nice.

Looks like there’s nothing left for the reveal. That 3070 doesn’t look bad so far. Interested to see benchmarks, and the inevitable lauding of RTX :) More DLSS info would be good too.

I’m surprised how small the 3070 is.

There were two versions of the 3070, the second one was a regular length one. First was probably an ITX sized design.

Well now to wait for EVGAs 4 slot cooler design RTX3090. :)

Oh also if you look at that Zotac 3090 posted up a few posts, it uses a 3x8pin power setup.

Apart from actual performance and price figures, ie the things that matter. We’ve had a lot of rumours and leaks, none of which are consistent, except for the renders.

Both had 2 fans and looked much shorter than the others.

I await informative charts again this time, like when the 2080 gen cards were revealed.

Interesting that wccftech listed 6/12 GB on the 3070. Buying an aftermarket 12GB 3070 might be quite an attractive option if it is indeed true that it has roughly the same performance as a 2080 Ti.

That’s the 3060. 8/16 on the 3070

I would not buy a 6gb GPU for over $150.

Ah thanks! That’s what i had meant to type but must have had a brain burp.

For anyone who wanted a factory overclock :)

Based on those clocks my guess is they are not on 7nm.

Good looking card, I have never seen Gainward for sale anywhere in the US. I prefer all my fans on the same side, I can’t imagine any other manufacturer copying the Nvidia 2 sided thing they have going on.
