When do the next generation GPUs drop?

This whole launch is so frustrating. I assume the 3090 NDA’s going to be right before its launch. So if I wait until the 3090 performance is out to decide whether to buy the sensible card or the stupid card, the 3080’s are probably going to be at the X-weeks backorder point already.

Similar boat here. It’s so annoying. I’m concerned if I rush and get a 3090 at massive expense they’ll sell a 3090ti or something a couple months later. :P

I want to know the full picture so I can make an informed choice, and be able to make it soon. :)

It may be just the Nvidia ‘Founders’ variants that are limited? Eg, I’ve seen Asus, EVGA, MSI, and Gigabyte all have 3090s listed on their sites.

All this makes me so happy that I decided back in the 260 days to switch to the x60/xx60 line of cards and avoid high-end. I’ve been more than satisfied with the performance and quality of everything I’ve played since, even if it’s not necessarily the most bang for the buck. I’m not buying into the hype no matter how ‘good’ it looks on paper, and my bank account thanks me.

I mean, some complete computers don’t cost as much as these cards.

Same here. I was hoping to get a Founder’s Edition or an EVGA, but even if I don’t end up wanting this one I’m sure I could sell it for a nice profit.

I still have fond memories of the Great Wal-Mart Pricing Error of 2013.

I got everything but the ASUS, and they threw in a $15 gift card for cancelling that one.

Yes the 750w PSU should be fine, if you have two 8-pin power connectors.
