My RDNA 2 vote is mostly just wishful thinking at this point, since it obviously will depend entirely on what gets announced, how it compares with RTX cards on performance and price. But hey, I hope it’s so excellent that I go with RDNA 2 once I get a new motherboard/CPU/RAM, etc.

For me it’s mainly about running VR games smoothly at higher res.

I mostly have Microsoft Flight Simulator in mind. My CPU is not adequate for that. But if I’m going to be upgrading motherboard, CPU, etc., might be a good time to upgrade video card as well, or at least keep these video cards in mind when getting a motherboard.

I’ve been looking at dropping my two small monitor and switch to a 32" or 34". I guess depending on the resolution i want with that maybe a new card would be worthwhile. More likely my 2700x will bottleneck soonish though.

I don’t like not running 1:1 pixel on monitors. It looks blurry to display non native resolution.
