The real trick is to go to their site and order directly so you can pick the parts yourself.
Then it’s perfectly fine.
I got this when I upgraded to an i9-9900K last year and it’s been a freaking miracle. It cools better than most water cooled solutions. My CPU rests at around 29-30 (depending on the core) and rarely do I see it break 40 even when gaming for long periods of time. Just an incredible product. Did you get the cool black one?

I got a custom PC built from Scan earlier in the year, seems well-built and tidy inside, no problems yet.
Best Buy has a ton of FE’s right now.
Edit: We’ll see if they’re real.
Edit edit: They were real, I have an FE and an EVGA fancy ass power cable on the way.
My watch has ended.

Nice! Congrats @Knightsaber.
I clicked over the instant this thread updated, but they were already gone.
Sold out now. Congratulations!
They had a ton of them, but I was trying so hard to get one that I wasn’t worried (didn’t think of it) about sharing here, sorry guys. :(
It took a lot of refreshing struggles but I just got my CC charge so that’s actually a thing now.
It’s okay. Always put the oxygen mask on yourself first.
Also keep trying, people on this Discord are still getting them.

Mazel Tov!
Don’t be discouraged if Best Buy sticks on “Getting it Ready” for awhile. That’s normal for them, they will ship it.
After they charged my card I figure they have to ship it :)

No worries. You definitely made the right call.
For some reason, this one didn’t show up on the discord.
Newegg had some last night that didn’t either, wonder if the stock scraping has been defeated. I only found out about Best Buy because someone screamed at everyone.
Holy shit, thanks for posting this! I think I’ve gotten one of the Nvidia FEs through the system. Our 3 week nightmare might be over!

Congrats! The FE is a nice piece of hardware. I’m waiting for Corsair to start producing the custom 12 pin compatible w their PSUs.
If you actually got one that was a solid 20 minutes of card availability, which is impressive.

Because they realized thier online store has… issues… Nvidia is now exclusively selling the FE through Best Buy in the USA.
Ran some temperature/CPU/memory usage tests last night with MSFS. CPU never got above 73C, which was great, and the 3080 idles at 33C and peaks at 70C after running at 100% load. If you’re looking for a reason to buy a card with >10GB of memory, Flight Sim will provide the usual exception to Stusser’s absolutes. :) Crank the render scale up to 200% on a 3440x1440 monitor and it maxes out the available memory and drops to 24 fps. There’s no reason to do that–visual difference is minute–but if you need an excuse for a 3090 or a 20GB 3080, there ya go. :) On a more realistic basis, I’m still a little nervous about perf on the Reverb G2 with its dual 2160x2160 displays and the need for smooth, fast frames in VR…
Yeah, if I was spec’ing it myself, I’d know not to use a single-fan AIO on Intel’s hottest processor. CyberPowerPC’s retail rig designers should too, but I’m guessing they wanted the “coolness” (in hype, not actual temperature) of liquid cooling. In this case, I bought their config because Best Buy shipped it to me in two days; CyberPowerPC has a multi-week backlog on custom configurations.
Nope, I got the “S” model, which has a single fan in the center of the heatsink and a clip for a second fan. I was worried about the standard NH-D15 fitting over the RAM in this system. The S cools within a degree of the bigger one, if you fit the second 120mm fan.
I actually think ever Noctua model comes in black now, fwiw. That’s all I was asking about - their products are universally amazing, I’ve had a few now in my last couple of builds and builds for friends/customers and I’ve always been impressed.
