That’s the script I’m running. Seems a bit weird to stream video of it, but OK.

Does that just create click able links or what?

Also, is there one for PS5? I already got mine, but I know at least one person still looking.

He streams the results of a crawl he constantly runs which checks stock and occasionally pipes in and provides specific rumors, tips, etc… On Youtube, he’s also got streams for the Ryzen 5000s and the Radeon 6800s. Doesn’t have one for consoles I’m aware of.

When it finds a product in stock, it sends me an email with the link, pops up a notification on my phone via Pushover, and sends me a SMS text. Yes it’ll do PS5 also. But check out the hotstock app, it’s much easier.

Gamestop apparently going to get a drop of Asus 3080’s today.

By the time this stuff becomes generally available I’ll be finished with the demanding titles - Legion, Valhalla, Cyberpunk. What is the stuff coming next year that justifies high end hardware? Nothing’s really known right? Halo Infinite ain’t it.

I wanna need to upgrade :(

I’ve decided to try to snag a 3080 and I’m using the script Stusser is using. What’s the general consensus on brands? Any brands to avoid besides Zotac? My preference is evga but I suppose we can’t be picky in times like this.

Hitman 3
Far Cry 6
Deathloop
Vampire the Masquerade 2
Ghostwire Tokyo
Dying Light 2

I think they are all Q1/Q2 2021 releases, but that can change.

I mean, I would guess it’s going to be most of the AAA games coming out next year, the year after that, etc. System requirements aren’t going to suddenly drop now that the new consoles are out, you know? :)

A next gen Dying Light would be great but it’s been in the works so long I’m assuming it’s kind of a last gen title. FC6… seems like that must be around the same level as the other recent Ubigames. Fingers crossed. Need to checkout Ghostwire.

KevincC: Hopefully!

Only them really, and just their base model underclocked card.

hehee

They’re all basically fine, even the Zotac, but it’s the least fine.

Running the script, tested Pushover notifications (thanks @stusser!)… Let the madness begin!

Good luck!

Yes, avoid PNY. The fans don’t ramp up.

Unless you want a very quiet card and want to dive into the wonderful world of undervolting in a feeble attempt to keep your temps down.

I just had another EVGA reservation pop in my inbox. This time I passed along the reservation to a local friend. Next one is back in the Qt3 pool. I’m pretty certain I signed up for every model way back.

I wish you good fortune in the wars to come.

Already banned from Newegg! Guess I need to tinker with the script settings a bit. :)

Yes you can increase the timings for Newegg only in the config file. They’ll unban you in an hour or so.
