I, like many folks, am on the prowl for a 3080. Been following the drops today, and it it is starting to look like the manufacturers are upping the MSRP. Zotac did it last week, and now ASUS and I think EVGA are going up as well. The ASUS Strix 3080 jumped up to $930 and the white version is even higher at $1,049. Just getting crazy out there

Yup, even here prices for the 3080 are about 100$ more than when I got mine late November, even though the local coin is strengthening against the USD.

Something weird is going on. The Asus site currently shows a 3070 dual ad more expensive than a 3070 TUF. And price on 3080 Tuf is unchanged while the strix has been jacked up

Yep, that is part of it. However there was also some sort of tariff exclusion that expired for the US, and so that tariff was passed on as well

Well, I haven’t been charged for it. And if their price goes up, mine certainly could too. On the flip side, the card I have on order still shows the same price on the Asus website for now, so who knows.

I just tried for a few minutes to help a friend of mine out. Had a couple of the please wait button to go back to yellow but they wouldn’t work after that (at least on my iPad). My buddy ended up buying a 3090 instead (for ‘only’ $1500)
