How much are you buying the 3070 for? (curious about amount and if it’s MSRP from November or how much more inflated over that it is)

It’s $599, so a ibump over the day one price. There is some justification because it is not the reference design, I suppose. It’s got extra leds,
Anyway, I"m happy that EVGA brought some sanity to the buying experience

I’m sure it is. 3060s were sold with the lower hash rate advertised so they can push a new revision with a new efuse without having to change the SKUs. Older cards will need new names.
ShopBLT.Com is taking orders again. I had to wait a few months on my 3070, but did get it eventually. If anyone is looking, here’s your chance. Their prices do run a bit above retail, but not drastically.
Thanks, i just ordered a 3080 from them (fingers crossed).
Indeed, ordered that Gigabyte 3080. Also no tax and free shipping? Wat?
Seems a decent card, and of my previous Gigabyte cards they overall have been solid, minus a flaky hdmi port once.
That’s the one I ordered, i do pay tax as I’m in one of the two states they charge tax to.
Your state thanks you for your support!
Also thanks @Misguided for finding the info , I haven’t seen it posted on any of the other sites I frequent for hardware deals.
This doesn’t look great, but maybe it hasn’t been updated in awhile?

At least I am on another list, as I have heard squat from EVGA.
That’s the card I got. The early versions had flaky power plugs, and the prongs pushed in so it was no longer usable. I had to RMA it. I suggest getting 8-pin PCI-e power extensions, plugging them into the card, and then never unplugging them. That’s what I did.
I am pretty sure I am number 16,993 in the queue, so no rush. :P
Thanks for posting this.
Now I’d like to vent a little:
Damn it. Last night I went ahead and ordered a 3060Ti on that site (at like 3am). I wanted to check availability but the site said that the real time inventory thing was under maintenance. Checked just now and there are 35k people in the queue and they have zero ordered. So I ordered the regular 3060 instead just now. Who knows how many positions in the now 10.5k queue size I lost because of that? :/
Guessing you had ordered the EVGA ftw3? I placed an order last night just before the maintenance began (just before I posted), so I knew there were over 30k orders. The price was listed for 18 dollars less, which they informed me was an error and the order was cancelled with the option to reinstate, which I did. I have no idea why they are taking so many orders on those, but I’m hoping they do get filled eventually.
From experience, you can not trust their ETAs. I watched mine come and go repeatedly.
@arrendek you could always try the Asus Dual 3060ti. It’s more of a barebones card and 50 bucks more than the evga for some reason, but there are only 15k orders with nearly 3800 inbound
Isn’t the regular 3060 not supposed to be that great by comparison with the ti?
Right, if both were in-stock and available at MSRP you would definitely want the 3060ti.
Thanks for the idea!
And yeah, that’s the card I ordered.
I reinstated the order, maybe they’ll have a lot of people bail with the price correction, since it’s an auto cancel if you don’t explicitly tell them to keep the order.
Sure, if you buy the better more expensive card it will be faster. And it’s probably better if you do like a fps/$ calculation, but $100 is $100.
None of these is shipping any time soon. But you can cancelAnytime before the item is in stock and you don’t get charged until then.
In that case the smart course of action is to order both and whichever one ships first, you keep.
Sure, it’s just that a standard 3060 is apparently not that much better than a 2060 for example, while a 3060ti is truly an upgrade.
But if all you need is a GPU, anything you can buy is great right now.
