The x70 card is always the best choice in terms of performance/dollar.

Ha, lines already forming outside the seclect Best Buy locations.

1660ti listed for over $800 on Amazon from Gigabyte themselves.

This is madness.

Nope, thats a 3rd party seller. But it is in stock!

I’m really starting to regret selling my old 3080 to a friend for only a grand.

I’d of given you a grand and a case of Angel Soft. ;)

Suddenly the $1500 PC I bought a few months back that felt like I overpaid a bit feels like it was a bargain.

(3060Ti, Ryzen 5600X, 16GB RAM, 1GB nvme SSD, storage HDD, etc).

I am seeing 3060ti’s cards on ebay selling for $1200 and more. ;)

Good God. I’m seeing FTW3 Ultra 3080s going for $2999 now. Have one coming tomorrow, I paid just under $1000 for it including tax and shipping.

Hhmm I have 2 working 980’s around here somewhere, I wonder…

I guess I’m hanging onto this 1080 Ti for the rest of my life.

I sold my 1080 non-Ti for over five hundred dollars.

From the FIXIT dude:

3080ti is a PAPER LAUNCH, Each Bestbuy Store on the list has at best 40 - 60 cards. Which means there are a total of 3240 - 4860 total cards available this launch for the founders throughout America.

Also posting images like (BB New Jersey as of like an hour ago):

And those are all going to get resold at a higher price!

That’s not what a paper launch means. It’s a real launch, just a supply-constrained one.

Paper launch is 2000 cards for the U.S.? Or is that supply constrained too? 1000 cards? 500?

Paper launch is when you wait at Best Buy and they hand you a piece of paper with a picture of a RTX3080ti, and at the bottom is IOU.

1 card is not a paper launch. Paper means zero.

This is like ā€œbrickedā€. Stupid people use ā€œbrickedā€ to mean when something doesn’t work right, but that isn’t correct. A device is bricked when it can only be used for its physical attributes, like holding open a door.

Weren’t you calling the 3070/3080 a paper launch back in September?
