Then I donāt get it. If I log out of my elite account I can still register for auto-notify for any product. The Elite 24 hour window seems to be a sham, unless itās only a window to purchase the 100 cards they had in stock today
Iām sure they had some stock at 9AM. It likely went pretty fast, and people kept hammering the site until it responded, they saw it was out of stock, then they either went away or clicked notify then went away.
And Ebay has 125+ cards up already, prices up to $10k.

I was able to auto-notify the 3080 Tiās using my account which has an Elite membership, but also with a newly created EVGA plebe account. Seems the gates are open to the barbarians.
Just looking at the supply and demand, I am wondering if the gpu market will return to any sense of normality by the end of the year. The shortages could totally last well into 2022, I mean hell Nvidia could be announcing the 4000 series and still have not fulfilled 3000 series orders.
Until exchanging cryptocurrency for real money is made about 1000 times less convenient and anonymous, this is the future. Craploads of electrical power used for Bitcoin, graphics cards for Ethereum, storage for this new crap Chia, etc. Ransonmware attacks as far as the eye can see, too.
All that and climate change/water wars too. Good times.
