I do appreciate all the vendors who are pairing either new video cards with older gen processors or vice versa. Thanks for posting it regardless - general frustration with the state of the market is all.
Yes, sorry, def post that stuff. :)
Website is still struggling mightily but get in there if you want to be on the list for the cheaper yet possibly available 3070Ti that EVGA offers.
Or that super expensive 3080Ti.
Finally got the my notifies page to load to confirm my queue position:

Iâm very happy with that.
Impressive. I havenât tried to load the notify page yet but I finally got the red bar screen at around 15 minutes, which probably means SOL
Forgot till just now, anyway I am registered for another useless queue.

Iâm sick to death of the GPU shenanigans and Iâm not even involved in the rat race. I feel fucking bad for all of you trying to get your hands on cards. :(

NZXT BLD has 3070 TIs and 3080TIs in stock for builds. Ships on 6/23.
Just got a notification for the EVGA 3070Ti XC Ultra that I queued up for yesterday. AWWWW YISSSS
Gratz, what does that mean, that it will be shipped soon?

Do you think EVGA have gained a lot of customer goodwill with the queue system? IT certainly seems to be the best option for âactual gamersâ in the dystopian graphics card hellscape of 2021

The St Louis Park, MN Microcenter (and others around the US) just switched to a lottery system for their graphics card shipments to cut back on overnight campers. If they get any cards overnight, they post a QR code out front at 8:30AM, and if you sign up before 9AM you get entered into the random draw. They pull 5 people at a time starting at 9AM and let them claim vouchers for cards that can be redeemed in the first four hours of operation that day.
The only catches are that you have to show up to get the QR code each day and, if you get picked, you have about 10 minutes to get to the counter at the front door before youâre dropped (so you canât just run off and come back later at your own leisure).
Thereâs an array of upsides and downsides but it seems a lot better to me than camping for 16 hours to get absolutely nothing like some poor saps have been doing.
I ordered it and they say theyâre shipping soon. I paid for extra fast shipping so fingers crossed! :D
I actually got 2, because the queue caught up for me from the one yesterday (3070Ti XC Ultra) where I got in super early and the one from a week ago (3070Ti release day), where I snagged a FTW reservation). I would definitely offer it up here for what I paid but my high school bud that I game with got dibs. If any of the rest of my queue reservations come up (which are wayyyy farther out) I will report back here.
Also, I got to use my 20% off elite spin coupon, so thatâs really nice. Ended up paying below the MSRP of the FE 3070Ti for the XC Ultra (which is just OCâed a bit).
Theyâve gained a ton of rep with me. Their forums are a mix of grateful people and people who nothing is ever good enough for.
You are right that I should give BB more credit for at least trying to make a queue happen. I am mad that the 3070Ti was essentially a paper launch, and pretty much no one is reporting actually getting a card from that BB drop I was complaining about in my post. But that is most likely on nvidia and the FE supply, not on BB.
Nice. You can sell one to help pay for it being overpriced even at MSRP compared to the non Ti cards.
Your high school friend should pay a little extra! :)
If I could buy the card I wanted I wouldnât have bought this one, but considering everything I went through, my $/perf ratio is totally fine from where I sit.
