I know that is a riff from an old song, it is driving me nuts, anyone know what I am talking about? Or is that a cover of that song?

Just found this old thread when I was doing a search for something else, noticed nobody ever responded - Chet, I’m pretty sure that on the Grammies, the White Stripes first played Seven Nation Army and then segued into Death Letter, both songs of theirs, though Death Letter could be a cover - it’s on their album “De Stijl.” Hope this helps, if you still want the info.
