Edge tab sync is coming according to the settings page. I wish they’d hurry up!
I use Edge for personal, Chrome for work myself.

This isn’t a Windows 10 topic, but I don’t feel it needs its own thread. I have an Alienware 15r3 and the uefi is on a m2 ssd. Any way to move that sucker? I have tried acronis, but no joy. Also, eff not having the uefi on the motherboard!@!!&*
Wait, the UEFI is on a drive?!?! Or do you mean you want to move all your boot sectors and stuff.

I am not sure what you mean by your UEFI is on your M.2. That essentially lives on your motherboard. Are you just trying to change which drive is your boot drive, your C drive?
UEFI partitions are simple fat32 so you should be able to mount and copy the files to a new drive.

There is a section on my m2 that is the UEFI. Unfortunately they don’t have to be on the motherboard (from what I read). Previous years of AlienDell machines could use AlienwareRespawn. They stopped updating it.
And that is exactly my issue Woolen_Horde. I pulled the m2 - no boot. I was friggin pulling my hair out before I finally figured out what was going on.

I’ll take a harder stab at it today. It wasn’t as easy and moving a file. The partition is invisible/unmountable in Explorer and Disk Management would let me do any changes. Maybe its a Dell thing?
The EFI partition is a standard part of modern Intel computers. If you want to access the files you just need to mount the partition.
Although these instructions reference a Mac’s EFI partition it is the same thing on any modern computer.

SWEET! I’ll try it. Thank you!

That was incredibly helpful. I haven’t used diskpart in a long time. I will not forget!
I’ve got a weird one. I reinstalled Windows 10 and it…didn’t install any software. I mean any software. It didn’t even install a web browser, notepad, calculator, or even the Windows Store. Has anybody ever had this happen? Is there a quick and easy way to fix this?
Everything actually seems to be working fine otherwise. I’ve been using it for a couple months with third party software, but I kinda need the Windows Store if nothing else, so that I can play Forza.
What did you use to install? The media creation tool?
Try it again, I suppose? Including creating the tool. Cause something ain’t right.
Maybe make sure you nuke all partitions during the install process and let Windows create new ones.
Have you yet to try a Windows repair/reset? You had said you reinstalled Windows from the media creation tool so perhaps just run the reset on the current install. If you are going to go the route of redoing it from scratch anyway, that would be an intermediate attempt at fixing it up.

Some people would view this type of install as a feature!

Well starting in upcoming or recent builds Notepad and Paint 3D are decoupled from default install.
No need to be so drastic just use powershell command to install default apps
This does not work. I tried and it just gave ton of messages saying ItemNotFoundException and the like.
I suppose I may try to repair.
