You can have strippers, but they’ll be burned to a crisp and turn into mutants.
So a 3 foot diameter column in the middle of every room in your house to cover the distance you can’t be close to it with foam or something.
Edit: OK, so you need to wrap the electric part with an insulator that passes the electric fields. So, imagine some sort of foam that you can cover the “core” with. Then the foam needs to have a radius of around 18 inches (46cm), so then that’s a 3 foot+ pole.
